Experiencing lifetime breakthrough through obedience to God’s words.

Experiencing lifetime breakthrough through wholehearted obedience to  God’s words.

Luke  5:1 And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,  5:2 And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.  5:3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.

Peter a professional fisherman went out all night but caught nothing.

Despite his failure, when Jesus requested to use his ship to preach,  he willingly gave it.

Remember, the liberal soul will always be blessed by God.

Proverbs  11:24 There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.  11:25 The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.

Hebrews  6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

When Jesus finished preaching, He rewarded Peter for his liberality.

Luke 5:4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.  5:5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.  5:6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.  5:7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

Others like Peter had been rewarded for obeying God’s words.

Genesis  22:15 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,  22:16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:  22:17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;  22:18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

Jeremiah  7:23 But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

The widest thing for you to do, is to choose to do what God says in His words.

Matthew  7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:  7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.  7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:  7:27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Luke  6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?  6:47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:  6:48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.  6:49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

Naaman leprosy healed heeding God’s words.

2 Kings  5:10 And Elisha sent a messenger unto him, saying, Go and wash in Jordan seven times, and thy flesh shall come again to thee, and thou shalt be clean.  5:11 But Naaman was wroth, and went away, and said, Behold, I thought, He will surely come out to me, and stand, and call on the name of the LORD his God, and strike his hand over the place, and recover the leper.  5:12 Are not Abana and Pharpar, rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? may I not wash in them, and be clean? So he turned and went away in a rage.  5:13 And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?  5:14 Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

Miracle followed when Ezekiel did what God said.

Ezekiel  37:4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.  37:5 Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:  37:6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.  37:7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.

Miraculous wine was made as the servants obeyed Jesus word.

John  2:1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:  2:2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the marriage.  2:3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.  2:4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.  2:5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.  2:6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.  2:7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And they filled them up to the brim.  2:8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast. And they bare it.  2:9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,  2:10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but thou hast kept the good wine until now.  2:11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

Your own miracle is guaranteed as you obey this word from Jesus.

Matthew  6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Let us pray.
