Jesus from the book of Acts.

Jesus from the book of Acts of Apostle

The bible from the book of Acts of Apostles  reveals JESUS CHRIST our Lord as the Risen Lord.

Acts  2:23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:  2:24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

 Acts 2:32
This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

Acts 3:15.  And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

1.  Preaching of Christ’s resurrection.

2. Persecutions for Christ’s resurrection.

3.; Purpose of Christ’s resurrection.

1.  Preaching of Christ’s resurrection.

Our Lord after His glorious, triumphant resurrection, commissioned the Apostles to go untol the ends of the world to witness His resurrection.

This they did with all their might, after receiving the promised baptism of the Holy Ghost.

Acts  10:39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:  10:40 Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;

Acts  13:29 And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre.  13:30 But God raised him from the dead:

1 Corinthians  15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;  15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Our Lord is risen, He lives  majestically at the right hand of God in heaven.  Ephesians 1:20.  Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

Revelation 1:18.  I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

2. Persecutions for Christ’s resurrection.

Unfortunately, the  witnessing of the resurrection of our Lord  incurred the wrath of satan and his followers. They fought against it all through the period of the apostles.

Acts  4:1 And as they spake unto the people, the priests, and the captain of the temple, and the Sadducees, came upon them,  4:2 Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.

Acts  26:7 Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and night, hope to come. For which hope’s sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews.  26:8 Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?

3.; Purpose of Christ’s resurrection.

Dearly beloved brethren, our Lord’s resurrection must be held always firmly by us,

The resurrection of Our Lord remains the bone of contention for unbelievers of all ages.

However, this resurrection is the  singular basis of the faith of  all believers.

1 Corinthians  15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.  15:18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

1 Corinthians 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

Romans  4:24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;  4:25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Let the whole world know assuredly that It is a true and worthy story, acceptable to all and sundry of all generations, that JESUS died and rose the third day, gloriously and triumphantly.

Dear Friend JESUS CHRIST died for your sins and rose up to justify you in particular before God the father.

If you will believe JESUS with all your heart and receive Him  now,  as your savior, the only acceptable substitute for all your sins.

You will be justified for all eternity as  a sinless child of God.

Please come to Him now. Don’t allow this great opportunity to slip out of your hand.

Doing this now will opens the door of a lifetime beneficiary of calvary’s blessings and eternity of grandeur. Hallelujah .

Let us pray.
