Christ wants all His followers of all ages to occupy for Him, winning souls.. 

Matthew  28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Mark  16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

But then, before this could be done effectively,  you must be willing to be Christlike in your lifestyle.

Isaiah  6:1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.  6:2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.  6:3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.  6:4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.  6:5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.  6:6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:  6:7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.  6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

It is after this cleansing that you can effectively turn others to Christ..

Daniel  12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Luke  1:17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

Acts  26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Always remember. Christ wants you to win souls for Him.

Proverbs  11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.

He has commissioned you to do so.

Romans  10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?  10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

Have compassion on sinners and do it. 

Jude  1:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:  1:23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

You will be rewarded adequately  in eternity .

1 Corinthians  15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Colossians  3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;  3:24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
