Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
It is important to know that as a faithful followers of Christ, you have a ministry to fulfill.
Jesus gave all His followers His name as a gift.
All believers can cast out devils and heal the sick.
But then, their is a towering price to pay like Jesus to fulfill this ministry.
Luke 12:50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!
The greatest price of all, is spending quality time in your closet with God, travailing in prayers.
Isaiah 66:7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. 66:8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
Isaiah 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
Galatians 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
Philippians 1:8 For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
Colossians 4:12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
The question is do you meet with God regularly in the secret place?
Do you spend quality time with Him, travailing like Ephaphras to fulfill your ministry?
If your answer is yes, fine. But if no, you must start immediately. This is because there is a reward waiting for you in eternity for fulfilling your ministry.
1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
Colossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; 3:24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
