Jesus’s entire ministry.

Jesus’s entire ministry.

The major ministry of Christ for you in particular is to save you from both outward sins, biblical salvation and inward sins, biblical sanctification.

Matthew  1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

However, in addition, He came to heal you from all forms of sicknesses and diseases.

Isaiah’ 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Matthew  4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Matthew  9:35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.

Acts  10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

1 Peter  2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

But then you must determinedly avoid being a miserable person whose reason for coming to Christ, is just for the present challenges in his life.

1 Corinthians  15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

As you reach out to Him for healing of the body, give priority to healing of your soul first.

Jeremiah  17:14 Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.

You must be eternity conscious. Seeking God’s kingdom first and your healing, secondary.

Matthew  6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Colossians  3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.  3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.  3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.  3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

The good Lord will both save you from all damnable sins. Sins without biblical salvation and sins within biblical sanctification

Matthew  1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Let us pray.
