Christlikeness and it’s blessings.

Matthew  11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Jesus calls all Bible believing believers to follow His and replicate His earthly lifestyle.

When He was here, He determinedly lived a sanctified lifestyle for His followers of all ages, including you to replicate 

John  17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

When you also determine to be Christlike in your lifestyle, you receive from Him, unique blessings now, on earth and blissful eternity in heaven.

You experience indescribable rest here and hereafter.

Rest on earth 

Isaiah  14:3 And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve,

Rest in heaven.

Revelation  14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

Unfortunately, when a person or a churchgoer chooses to reject Christ’s call and total surrendered lifestyle to Him, such will experience avoidable lifelong challenges and restless eternity.

Restlessness on earth 

Proverbs  1:23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.  1:24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;  1:25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:  1:26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;  1:27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.  1:28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:  1:29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:  1:30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.  1:31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.  1:32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

Zechariah  7:13 Therefore it is come to pass, that as he cried, and they would not hear; so they cried, and I would not hear, saith the LORD of hosts:

Troubled eternity.

Revelation  14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:  14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

So make up your mind to heed Christ’s call and live a godly lifestyle till He comes.

His grace will be sufficient for you.
