Unavoidable eternal pains for despising Jesus’s words in the Bible about hell.

by Bishop Peter Babalolain Devotional

The  eternal pain of  dispising the words of Jesus on hell fire.

Luke  10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Jesus’s words in the Bible are eternal, infallible, unchanging, immutable and ever settled, they shall all be fulfilled.

Matthew  24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

As you think about many great men and women, mightily used by God in their life times, but ultimately end up in hell. You should learn for same thing not to happen to you.

Romans  15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. words of Jesus on hell fire.

1 Corinthians  10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

1 Corinthians  10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

Listen to His words again.

What did Jesus say about hell?

1. Don’t rely on whatever you are doing as approval of God for your life, ensure your name is written in the book of life.

Luke  10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

2. Fear God, He has the capacity to send any erring churchgoer to hell.

Luke  12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

3. Whatever your status or relationship with God,  He will surely remove your name from the book of life, if you sinned against Him.

Exodus  32:33 And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.

4. Whoever you are if your name is not in the book of life, it is eternal damnation.

Revelation  20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

5. Your name will be written and retained in the book of life, if you overcome sin, satan, self, the flesh and the world.

Revelation  3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

6. Doing God’s will for a lifetime is the guarantee for eternity with God.

Matthew  7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

7.  Walking on the narrow road is the only path to live eternally with God.

Matthew  7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

8. If you will follow Him to the end, His grace will be sufficient for you.

2 Corinthians  9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

The good Lord will help you, but give right attention to Jesus’s words in the Bible for your eternal wellbeing.

Let us pray.
