God’s unfailing guidance.

God’s unfailing guidance.

Psalms  32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

God’s committed Himself to be guiding His saints for them not fall into the snare of satan.

The scriptures reveal several promises both in the old and new testaments , affirming God’s good intentions to guide His saints.

Psalms  48:14 For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

Isaiah  42:16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.  42:19 Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD’s servant?  42:20 Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.

Isaiah  48:17 Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.  48:18 O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:

Jeremiah  33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

John  16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

1 John  2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

It is painful to see saints of God falling into avoidable challenges, when they fall to seek  the guidance of God.

Joshua

Joshua  7:2 And Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is beside Bethaven, on the east side of Bethel, and spake unto them, saying, Go up and view the country. And the men went up and viewed Ai.  7:3 And they returned to Joshua, and said unto him, Let not all the people go up; but let about two or three thousand men go up and smite Ai; and make not all the people to labour thither; for they are but few.  7:4 So there went up thither of the people about three thousand men: and they fled before the men of Ai.  7:5 And the men of Ai smote of them about thirty and six men: for they chased them from before the gate even unto Shebarim, and smote them in the going down: wherefore the hearts of the people melted, and became as water.

Joshua  9:14 And the men took of their victuals, and asked not counsel at the mouth of the LORD.  9:15 And Joshua made peace with them, and made a league with them, to let them live: and the princes of the congregation sware unto them.  9:16 And it came to pass at the end of three days after they had made a league with them, that they heard that they were their neighbours, and that they dwelt among them.  9:17 And the children of Israel journeyed, and came unto their cities on the third day. Now their cities were Gibeon, and Chephirah, and Beeroth, and Kirjathjearim.  9:18 And the children of Israel smote them not, because the princes of the congregation had sworn unto them by the LORD God of Israel. And all the congregation murmured against the princes.

Samuel

1 Samuel  16:6 And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD’s anointed is before him.  16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

But them, when God’s guidance is heeded, God’s saints are properly guided.

Paul and his team.

Acts  16:6 Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia,  16:7 After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not.  16:8 And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas.  16:9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.  16:10 And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

However, to benefit from this unfailing guidance you must be a bona fide child of God.

You must have been biblically saved and sanctified.

God’s guidance is children’s bread that will not be given to dogs.

Matthew  15:26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs.

Mark  7:27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.

If you are not, reach out to Jesus and experience both spiritual works of grace.

Matthew  1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Jesus saves from both outward sins, biblical salvation and inward sins biblical sanctification.

Please take advantage of God’s unfailing guidance and you will be delivered continually from falling into satanic snares till Christ comes in Jesus name.

Let us pray.
