JESUS FROM THE BOOK OF MICAH.
The Bible from genesis to revelation talk about only one individual. That person is our Lord and Savior.
John 5:39
Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
TODAY, WE WANT TO STUDY WHAT THE BOOK OF MICAH SAYS ABOUT OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. HE IS REVEALED AS THE RIGHTEOUS RULER.
Micah 5:2.
But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
Rev 19:11-13.
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

JESUS THE RIGHTEOUS RULER
Our Lord JESUS CHRIST is the righteous ruler who rules in outmost righteousness and equity.
The Old Testament saints and prophets knew that God will raise up in JESUS our Lord a ruler for righteousness.
Genesis 49:10:
The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
Isaiah 9:6:
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:7: Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
Isaiah 32:1:
Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.
Jeremiah 23:5:
¶Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
Today JESUS rules only in the hearts of all them who have appropriated His substitution sacrifice. But a time is coming, when He will rule over the entire world in righteousness.
Rev 11:15.
And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
2. JOINING THE REIGNING -TEAM THROUGH RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Our Lord JESUS CHRIST will reign over His people at the end of time. They will reign and rule with Him forever.
Jude 1:14-15
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
Revelation 20:6
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
How can we join the multitude that will reign with CHRIST at the end of time? The answer is through God’s acceptable righteousness.
Isaiah 64:6
But we are all as an unclean thing,
and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
How can we meet with God’s acceptable righteousness? What can we do?
Romans 10:1-4
Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
Romans 3:22
Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
Romans 3:24-25
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
1 Corinthians 1:30
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
2 Corinthians 5:21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Philippians 3:9
And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
Faith in the precious blood of JESUS alone is the acceptable righteousness before God. When you believe with your Heath that JESUS died for you and that His substitution sacrifice is sufficient for you, God count you righteous.
Faith in His blood will make you to plunge yourself into it and be redeemed and be cleansed.
Revelation 5:9-10
And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
After you have been redeemed with His blood, you keep cleansing yourself with this same blood, to prepare you ready for the rapture.
Revelation 19:7-8
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
May God help you to be part of the reigning team of CHRIST in JESUS name.
3. JUDGEMENT FOR REJECTING THE REDEEMER.
Unfortunately, today the vast majority of people in the world are passionately and vehemently resisting and rejecting the rulership of JESUS over them.
Luke 19:14. But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.
Such people don’t believe in JESUS as the Son of God, they don’t believe that His substitution sacrifice and His precious blood are sufficient. Like Cain, they are coming to God with their own righteousness, which make them unacceptable.
Luke 18:10-12
Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
WHEN YOU BEGIN TO RELY ON WHAT YOU CAN DO AND NOT WHAT GOD HAD DONE, YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS WILL NEVER BE ACCEPTABLE BEFORE GOD.
John 10:25-26.
Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me. But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
Also when you despise, or disobey God’s word flagrantly, you will be rejected and will be compelled to face the fiery judgement of God. Anyone that rejected the truth as contained in God’s eternal word will be severely punished.
Hebrews 10:26-27
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
Hebrews 10:28-29
He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Our Lord is the righteous ruler. He will reign for ever and ever . Are you fighting or having fellowship with Him? Are you worshiping Him as your ruler or warring with Him as your enemy? You can make a wise choice now, to have faith in His precious blood and then join the reigning team for a lifetime of joy and blissful eternity.
Micah 5:2.
But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.
Let us pray.
