Gross misunderstanding of Rom 9:16, reason why multitude in the church globally will miss the rapture.
Romans 9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
The one major reason why multitude from the church globally will miss the imminent rapture, is because of their gross misunderstanding of Rom 9:16.
Always remember that all that God needed to do to secure both your earthly and eternal wellbeing have been done through Christ redemptive work on the cross.
You go out of your way to attain your earnest desire for earthly ephemeral. But you are idle on eternal things, presuming the blessed Holy Spirit will do things you should be doing till Christ comes for your eternal wellbeing.
Listen to the following scriptures: they are your personal responsibility to guarantee your eternal wellbeing.
2 Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 2:20 But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.
1 Peter 1:14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
These are what you must be doing till Christ comes to guarantee your readiness for the imminent rapture.
