Gratitude to God..
As you sincerely consider the Providence, benevolence, liberality and hospitality of God towards you.
You must at all times be grateful to Him and like David to bless Him at all times.
Psalms 34:1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
As you think of your eyes that can see, your mouth that can talk, your ears that can ear and legs that can walk. You must without fail, be grateful to God for these unmerited benefits.
Psalms 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:
The only thing you merited from the Lord is judgement. This is because all without exception have sinned and come short of His glory.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
God on His own volition took the initiative to bring you to Himself by making His only begotten Son to go through painful shameful gruesome and excruciating death on the cross of Calvary for you to be brought back to Him.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Hebrews 2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
So every opportunity you have be grateful and thankful to Him.
Psalms 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
It might seems that presently you are going through challenging situation which is temporal.
No matter how challenging the situation might be, like Habakkuk in the old testament and Paul and Silas in the new testament. You must still praise God.
Habakkuk 3:16 When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops. 3:17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: 3:18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. 3:19 The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
Acts 16:25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. 16:26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.
It is by praising Him in all things and at all times that you move Him to intervene concerning your cause.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
His grace will always be sufficient for you.
2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
Let us pray.
