STUDYING JESUS FROM THE BOOK OF SONG OF SOLOMON  –  THE  COMING BRIDEGROOM    Tue  15th  APRIL , 2025

TODAY, WE WANT TO STUDY WHAT THE BOOK OF SONGS OF SOLOMON HAS TO SAY ABOUT OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.  

HE IS REVEALED AS THE COMING BRIDEGROOM. 

Song of Solomon  2:8 The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills.  2:9 My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice.  2:10 My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.

Revelation  1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.  1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Matthew  25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.  25:2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.  25:3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:  25:4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.  25:5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.  25:6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.  25:9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

JESUS IS THE INDISPUTABLE COMING BRIDEGROOM OF THE CHURCH.

1.     BRIDEGROOM  PROGRAM FOR THE MARRIAGE WITH THE CHURCH

OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST HAS GONE  BACK TO HEAVEN TO PREPARE FOR THE GREAT WEDDING DAY. WHEN HE WILL GET MARRIED ETERNALLY WITH HIS BRIDES, THE CHURCH. 

Song of Solomon  2:1 I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.  2:2 As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters.  2:3 As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. Revelation  19:5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.  19:6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.  19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

1 Corinthians  15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,  15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

1 Thessalonians  4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.  4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.  4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.  4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

1 John  3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.  3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Colossians  3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

1 Peter  5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

Ephesians  5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;  5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.  5:32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

John  14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.  14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

CERTAINLY OUR LORD HAS GONE BACK TO HEAVEN TO PREPARE FOR US TO JOIN HIM IN THE MARRIAGE. BUT HOW PREPARED ARE YOU TO BE A PART OF THIS GREAT EVENT?

2.     BRIDES  PREPAREDNESS FOR THE MARRIAGE WITH CHRIST.

FOR ANY MEMBER OF THE CHURCH , THE BRIDES TO PARTAKE IN THIS GREAT PROGRAM, THERE IS NEED FOR A DAILY PREPARATION. 

Song of Solomon  5:2 I sleep, but my heart waketh: it is the voice of my beloved that knocketh, saying, Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled: for my head is filled with dew, and my locks with the drops of the night.  5:3 I have put off my coat; how shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them?  5:4 My beloved put in his hand by the hole of the door, and my bowels were moved for him.  5:5 I rose up to open to my beloved; and my hands dropped with myrrh, and my fingers with sweet smelling myrrh, upon the handles of the lock.  5:6 I opened to my beloved; but my beloved had withdrawn himself, and was gone: my soul failed when he spake: I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer.

Mark  13:34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.  13:35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:  13:36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.  13:37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Matthew  24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Revelation  19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.  19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.  19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

WHO IS A WISE VIRGIN?  

Deuteronomy  32:29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

Proverbs  19:20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.

Ephesians  5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;  5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,  5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Colossians  3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.  3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.  3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.  3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

2 Corinthians  11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

1 John  3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Matthew  24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

WILL YOU BE RAPTURABLE? 

 BE WISE AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR PRECIOUS SOUL, NOW. TOMORROW MIGHT BE TOO LATE.

3.     BENEFITS OF PARTAKING IN THE MARRIAGE WITH CHRIST.

THE BENEFITS OF PARTAKING IN THE MARRIAGE SUPPER ARE INNUMERABLE AND ETERNAL.

 YOU MUST DO EVERYTHING TO BE A PART.

Revelation  19:6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.  19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.  19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Matthew  25:14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.  25:15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.  25:16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.  25:20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.  25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.  25:22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.  25:23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

REWARD OF FAITHFUL  SERVICE WILL BE GIVEN DURING THE MARRIAGE SUPPER,

 ARE YOU DOING ANYTHING FOR YOUR LORD? 

ARE YOU DOING IT WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND MIGHT?  

OUR LORD WILL REWARD US ALL ACCORDING TO OUR WORK.

Revelation  22:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.  22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

2 Thessalonians  1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,  1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:  1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;  1:10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

ARE YOU TROUBLED? ENDURE A LITTLE MORE, IT WILL SOON BE OVER.

Revelation  20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.  20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

WE WILL REIGN WITH HIM A THOUSAND YEARS. DO EVERYTHING TO MAKE YOU PARTAKE.

Revelation  21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.  21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.  21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.  21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.  21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.  21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.  21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Revelation  22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.  22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.  22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:  22:4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.  22:5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.  22:6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.

HEAVEN IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE OF JOY AND BLISS.

 PLEASE DON’T MISS IT. GOD HAS BROUGHT YOU TO THIS CHURCH , TO HELP YOU LIVE WITH HIM ETERNALLY.  THE MARRIAGE SUPPER IS SET. WILL YOU BE THERE?
