Patiently waiting requisite for readiness for the imminent rapture.

Patiently waiting, requisite for readiness for the imminent rapture.

1 Corinthians  1:7 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:  1:8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

To be part of the imminent coming of Christ,  you must cultivate the attitude of patiently waiting for His coming.

You must avoid listening to scoffers who bad mouth your attitude to patiently wait.

The days of Noah, they did the  same thing, however one hundred and twenty years ended and they all perished. So avoid them and never ever listen to them.

2 Peter  3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,  3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

As you do so, you continue to patiently look forward to His coming according to God’s good timing.

1 Peter  4:7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

James  5:7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.  5:8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

But then while waiting you also preparing adequately for His coming.

You ensure you have done everything that will get you ready, including settling all restitutions matter .

Matthew  25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.  25:2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.  25:3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:  25:4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.  25:5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.  25:6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.  25:7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.  25:8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.  25:9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.  25:10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.  25:11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.  25:12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.  25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

Then you continue to avoid anything that can jeopardize your readiness.

Luke  21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.  21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.  21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

In addition you are living in biblical watchfulness.

Mark  13:35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:  13:36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.  13:37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Revelation  16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

Don’t be involved in anything that can make your name to be removed from the book of life.

Revelation  3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Then when our Lord comes you will not be ashamed but ready for His coming.

1 John  2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

Let us pray.
