Psalms  23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

John  10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Earthly and eternal wellness are the heritage of God’s people.

These will become yours, when you wholeheartedly follow Jesus as one of His sheep.

Psalms  23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.  23:2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

Only His obedient sheep have access to these wellness.

John  10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:  10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Your greener pasture is your own Eden 

Isaiah  51:3 For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.

In your green pasture or Eden, the following are additional things you will be enjoying for a life time.

Isaiah  65:21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.  65:22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.  65:23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.  65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

But then you have two  responsibilities to sustain your lifetime and eternal wellness.

Genesis  2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

2. Keeping it.

1. What does it mean to dress it?  You will work hard and be diligent in your Eden or greener pasture.

Proverbs  22:29 Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.

1 Thessalonians  4:11 And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;  4:12 That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

2. What does it mean to keep it?

It means not giving satan opportunity to drive you out of your greener pasture or Eden.

Ephesians  4:27 Neither give place to the devil.

Remember he comes to kill steal and destroy.

John  10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

You must not be eating forbidden fruits .

You must be totally free from sin that can open door for Satan.

Genesis. 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:  2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

1 John  3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

David said before Absalom his son drove him momentarily from the throne, he went astray.

Psalms  119:67 Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.

God’s grace will be sufficient for you to enjoy your greener pasture and then access eternity with God in Jesus name.
