Pattern of ministry given to appointed leaders.

Pattern of Ministry ‘s directions given to the appointed Leader of the ministry.

Acts  7:44 Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.

God is the Master planner of all things.

He has in mind at all times what He wants to do with a group of people, a ministry, a country and even an individual and you in particular.

He has a unique plan for everyone, walk with Him for Him to deliver His master plans for your life or the ministry you are pastoring and don’t allow any agent of satan to sabotage God’s plans for your life.

When the tabernacle was to be built in the wilderness, God gave Moses, the leader of God’s people the pattern.

Acts  7:44 Our fathers had the tabernacle of witness in the wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he should make it according to the fashion that he had seen.

Exodus  25:40 And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.

Exodus  26:30 And thou shalt rear up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was shewed thee in the mount.

Hebrews  8:5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

When the ark was to be built, God gave Noah the pattern.

Genesis  6:14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.  6:15 And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.  6:16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.

When the temple was to be built in Jerusalem, God gave king David the pattern.

1 Chronicles  28:11 Then David gave to Solomon his son the pattern of the porch, and of the houses thereof, and of the treasuries thereof, and of the upper chambers thereof, and of the inner parlours thereof, and of the place of the mercy seat,  28:12 And the pattern of all that he had by the spirit, of the courts of the house of the LORD, and of all the chambers round about, of the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries of the dedicated things:

1 Chronicles  28:19 All this, said David, the LORD made me understand in writing by his hand upon me, even all the works of this pattern.

God gave our Lord Jesus Christ the pattern of His ministry on earth.

John  6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.  6:39 And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.  6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

God gave Paul directions on His ministry.

Acts  26:15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.  26:16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;  26:17 Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee,  26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.  26:19 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:  26:20 But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

Acts  16:6 Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach the word in Asia,  16:7 After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not.  16:8 And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas.  16:9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.  16:10 And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

God gave Adam directions given on what His purpose was at Eden.

Genesis  2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.  2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:  2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

God guided Joshua to victory.

Joshua  6:1 Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in.  6:2 And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour.  6:3 And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days.  6:4 And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams’ horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets.  6:5 And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him.  6:15 And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early about the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times.  6:16 And it came to pass at the seventh time, when the priests blew with the trumpets, Joshua said unto the people, Shout; for the LORD hath given you the city.  6:20 So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.

Joshua was  defeated when he listened to men instead of God for guidance.

Joshua  7:2 And Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is beside Bethaven, on the east side of Bethel, and spake unto them, saying, Go up and view the country. And the men went up and viewed Ai.  7:3 And they returned to Joshua, and said unto him, Let not all the people go up; but let about two or three thousand men go up and smite Ai; and make not all the people to labour thither; for they are but few.  7:4 So there went up thither of the people about three thousand men: and they fled before the men of Ai.  7:5 And the men of Ai smote of them about thirty and six men: for they chased them from before the gate even unto Shebarim, and smote them in the going down: wherefore the hearts of the people melted, and became as water.

God will always reveal His plans and purpose for your life, if you listen to His unfailing guidance.

Isaiah  42:16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.  42:19 Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the LORD’s servant?

Isaiah  48:17 Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.  48:18 O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! then had thy peace been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea:  48:21 And they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out.

He did same for the following saints.

Jeremiah

Jeremiah  1:4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,  1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Ezekiel

Ezekiel  3:17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.

John the Baptist

Luke  1:15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb.  1:16 And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.  1:17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

He wants to do same for you, if you will listen to Him.

Jeremiah  29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.  29:12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.  29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Psalms  32:8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.

John  16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Pray to Him for guidance as to His purpose for your life and He will reveal it to you.

Psalms  48:14 For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

Jeremiah  33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Don’t allow anyone to change the course of your life after you have heard from God.

Let us pray
