What the church must avoid because of eternity.

WHAT THE CHURCH MUST AVOID, FOR THE SAKE OF ETERNITY.

Acts  7:38 This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:  7:39 To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt,  7:40 Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.  7:41 And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands.

More than six hundred thousand adults left Egypt for the promised land, only Joshua and Caleb got there.

The reason for this was their recurrent disobedient to God and His words.

Numbers  14:28 Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:  14:29 Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward, which have murmured against me,  14:30 Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.  14:37 Even those men that did bring up the evil report upon the land, died by the plague before the LORD.  14:38 But Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of the men that went to search the land, lived still.

Numbers  26:65 For the LORD had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

Numbers  32:11 Surely none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me:  32:12 Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite, and Joshua the son of Nun: for they have wholly followed the LORD.

This was there undoing. Total disregard for God’s words and instructions.

Jeremiah  6:16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Jeremiah  44:16 As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee.  44:17 But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

Hosea  8:3 Israel hath cast off the thing that is good: the enemy shall pursue him.  8:12 I have written to him the great things of my law, but they were counted as a strange thing.

Very very unfortunately, majority of the churchgoers in Christ churches globally are doing same thing.

God had said what happened to the Israelites will happen to them. As the Israelites were denied the promised land, so these churchgoers will not have access to heaven.

2 Thessalonians  2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.  2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:  2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

1 Corinthians  6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,  6:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Revelation  21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.  21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

Examine yourself, fo you fall into this category?

Repent now and begin to obey God wholeheartedly,  because tomorrow might be too late.
