Godly greatness through meeting God’s conditions.

Joel  2:21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.

Psalms  126:1 When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.  126:2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.  126:3 The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.

Example of godly greatness.

Luke  1:46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,  1:47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.  1:49 For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.

What are the conditions of God for godly greatness in your life.

1. Don’t be  a miserable Christian.

1 Corinthians  15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

Example of miserable Christians 

Revelation  3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.  3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.  3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:  3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.  3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.  3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

2. Don’t gain anything at the expense of your precious undying souls.

Matthew  16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Genesis  25:29 And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint:  25:30 And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.  25:31 And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright.  25:32 And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?  25:33 And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.

Be careful satan comes to do this when he discover these four things in your life. Write acrimony HALT

3.You must be His child.

John  3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

2 Corinthians  5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

4. You must walk with Him in holiness.

Luke  1:75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

5. You must be obedient unto Him wholeheartedly at all times and in all things.

Job  36:11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

Isaiah  1:19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:

Matthew  6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Example of greatness through obedience.

Genesis  22:15 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,  22:16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:  22:17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;  22:18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

6. You must pray for your desired godly greatness.

Psalms  37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

1 John  5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:  5:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Listen to somebody who desire great things.

1 Chronicles  4:9 And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.  4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

God will do great things for you as you conscientiously meet all these 

Conditions in Jesus name.
