Possessing your greatness heritage through Christ.

As a child of God you have several promises from Him, to do great things for you.

Psalms  126:1 When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.  126:2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.  126:3 The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.

Joel  2:21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.

Whatever is  challenging or hindering you desire  for greatness  shall be turned to testimonies in Jesus name.

Luke  21:13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

In what areas do you desire greatness  this morning?

Joel  2:21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.

Luke  1:46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,  1:47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.  1:49 For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.

God wants to do great things for you in particular.

But then :

1. You must be His child.

John  3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

2 Corinthians  5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

2. You must walk with Him in holiness.

Luke  1:75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

3. You must desire great things.

Psalms  37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

1 John  5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:  5:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

Listen to somebody who desire great things.

1 Chronicles  4:9 And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.  4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

God will do great things for you too, as you make your desire known to Him in Jesus name.

Joel  2:21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.
