God fulfilled Joseph’s dreams despite oppositions

Acts  7:9 And the patriarchs, moved with envy, sold Joseph into Egypt: but God was with him,  7:10 And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.

Genesis  37:4 And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.  37:5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.  37:6 And he said unto them, Hear, I pray you, this dream which I have dreamed:  37:7 For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and made obeisance to my sheaf.  37:8 And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.  37:9 And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.  37:10 And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?  37:11 And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.

Genesis  37:17 And the man said, They are departed hence; for I heard them say, Let us go to Dothan. And Joseph went after his brethren, and found them in Dothan.  37:18 And when they saw him afar off, even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him.  37:19 And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh.  37:20 Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.

David also had enemies who were determined to thwart the promise of God for His life.

1 Samuel  20:1 And David fled from Naioth in Ramah, and came and said before Jonathan, What have I done? what is mine iniquity? and what is my sin before thy father, that he seeketh my life?  20:2 And he said unto him, God forbid; thou shalt not die: behold, my father will do nothing either great or small, but that he will shew it me: and why should my father hide this thing from me? it is not so.  20:3 And David sware moreover, and said, Thy father certainly knoweth that I have found grace in thine eyes; and he saith, Let not Jonathan know this, lest he be grieved: but truly as the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, there is but a step between me and death.

Joseph’s dream was fulfilled.

Genesis  42:6 And Joseph was the governor over the land, and he it was that sold to all the people of the land: and Joseph’s brethren came, and bowed down themselves before him with their faces to the earth.  42:7 And Joseph saw his brethren, and he knew them, but made himself strange unto them, and spake roughly unto them; and he said unto them, Whence come ye? And they said, From the land of Canaan to buy food.  42:8 And Joseph knew his brethren, but they knew not him.  42:9 And Joseph remembered the dreams which he dreamed of them, and said unto them, Ye are spies; to see the nakedness of the land ye are come.

God’s promise for David was fulfilled .

2 Samuel  5:1 Then came all the tribes of Israel to David unto Hebron, and spake, saying, Behold, we are thy bone and thy flesh.  5:2 Also in time past, when Saul was king over us, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the LORD said to thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be a captain over Israel.  5:3 So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and king David made a league with them in Hebron before the LORD: and they anointed David king over Israel.  5:4 David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years.  5:5 In Hebron he reigned over Judah seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years over all Israel and Judah.

Same happened to Abraham.

Romans  4:18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.  4:19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb:  4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;  4:21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

Joseph dreams came to pass, despite the difficult challenges.

No matter the intensity of satan’s resistance of God’s purpose for your life, it shall come to pass.

Remember this,  God’s promise will always be fulfilled.

Luk 1:45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

But then, Patiently wait for God good timing for the fulfilment of your dreams.

Psalms  40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.  40:2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.  40:3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.

Hebrews  6:12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.  6:13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,  6:14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.  6:15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

Hebrews  10:35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.  10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.  10:37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.  10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.  10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Since God has not changed what He did for Joseph will be done for you too in Jesus name.

Malachi  3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

Ezekiel  12:28 Therefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, saith the Lord GOD.

Let us pray.
