Philippians  3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:  3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Titus  2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,  2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;  2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Hebrews  9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

The Bible affirmed severally that our Lord is coming back for His expectant saints.

John  14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.  14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

These saints are occupied in preparing others ready for the coming of their Lord.

Luke  19:13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.

They are seeking eternal things and have priority for heavenly things, so that when their Lord comes, they will be ready.

Colossians  3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.  3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.  3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.  3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

They cleaved to Him tenaciously and will not allow anything or anyone to come between them and Christ for them to be ready when He comes.

1 John  2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

They lived in biblical purity at all times to get them ready when their Lord comes .

1 John  3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.  3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.  3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

To such people, the blessed Holy Spirit assured that, Jesus will surely come for them at the appointed time.

Pause and sincerely examine yourself, are you one of such people?  Listen again.

Are you by biblical salvation and sanctification now a citizen of heaven?

Is your name in the book of life?

Are you living a  godly lifestyle and renouncing worldliness in all its ramifications to help you live eternally with God?

Hebrews  9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

Do you always live with eternity in view in all that you are doing for you to be ready for the coming of the Lord?

If your discovery is yes,  then when our Lord comes, you will go with Him.

But if it is no, there is danger. So determinedly do what it will take to get you ready.

Seek God when He can be found.

Isaiah  55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:  55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Today is the acceptable time when all necessary corrections can be done.

2 Corinthians  6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

God commanded everyone to repent to avoid white throne judgement.

Acts  17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:  17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

Be ready the coming of our Lord draws near .

Matthew  24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
