John  12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

God is interested in doing great things for His people, if they are willing to do His bidding.

One unfailing way to receive God’s blessings for this life or the one to come is by serving Him.

Deuteronomy  10:12 And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

Psalms  100:2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

Luke  4:8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Romans  12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

So how can you serve God biblically and be rewarded?

S: seek ye first the kingdom of God.

Matthew  6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

E: enter in through the narrow gate.

Matthew  7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

R: remember Lot’s wife don’t look back. Luke  17:32 Remember Lot’s wife.

V: verily you shall receive hundred fold. Mark  10:29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,  10:30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

E: escape the damnation of hell.

Matthew  23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

When all of these are done wholeheartedly,  then you will certainly and assuredly live eternally with God for all eternity and be honored on this side of heaven.

Our Lord presently is in heaven at the right hand of God.

Mark  16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

Hebrews  1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

So everyone that serves Him wholeheartedly will be with Him there for all eternity.

Colossians  3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;  3:24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

And also on this side of heaven, such people shall be honored.

It is written that if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. God will honor you.

Listen to what God will honor you with.

Numerous enviable blessings  comes to everyone that serves the Lord wholeheartedly.

Exodus  23:25 And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.  23:26 There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil.

Job  36:11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

Isaiah  54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.

Malachi  3:17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.  3:18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

It must be your unchanging resolve to serve the Lord wholeheartedly for your earthly and eternal wellbeing.

Joshua  24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Beloved I want to encourage you to serve our Lord Jesus Christ and you will be blessed here and hereafter in Jesus name.
