Whole sanctification requisite for partaking in the imminent rapture.

Whole sanctification requisite for partaking in the imminent rapture.

1 Thessalonians  5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Dearly beloved brethren, certainly and assuredly the coming of our Lord draweth nigh.

James 5:8

Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

The coming of our Lord is certain.

John  14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.  14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

The imminent rapture is going to happen suddenly.

1 Corinthians  15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Our Lord Jesus Christ admonished His followers to live in readiness at all times.

Matthew  24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

But then as you get ready for the imminent rapture, you are under compulsion to meet the requisites.

The requisite is to be walking in the Spirit and get the body under control of the word of God and Spirit of God.

What does this mean?

1 Thessalonians  5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

You must be living a crucified lifestyle, that makes your spirit man to have total control over your soul and body.

Galatians  2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

For you in particular to be ready and qualified. Listen to this word again.

1 Thessalonians  5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1.

Your spirit, soul and body must be preserved blameless till Christ comes..

11.

Your spirit man, your real self must be in total control of your soul and body.

This means, both your soul or body must not be in control of your spirit . But your Spirit man, your real self must be in total control over your soul and body.

 Meaning:

Doing what Job and Paul apostle were doing.

Job  31:1 I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?

1 Corinthians  9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway

Walking in the spirit.

Galatians 5:16

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

Galatians 5:25

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Living crucified lifestyle.

Galatians  2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Galatians  5:24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Galatians  6:14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

Romans  6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.  6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:  6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

This means you continue to deny the flesh from having whatever is not legitimate.

You must avoid the undoing of king Solomon.

Ecclesiastes  2:1 I said in mine heart, Go to now, I will prove thee with mirth, therefore enjoy pleasure: and, behold, this also is vanity.  2:8 I gathered me also silver and gold, and the peculiar treasure of kings and of the provinces: I gat me men singers and women singers, and the delights of the sons of men, as musical instruments, and that of all sorts.  2:10 And whatsoever mine eyes desired I kept not from them, I withheld not my heart from any joy; for my heart rejoiced in all my labour: and this was my portion of all my labour.

You must determinedly avoid carnality.

Romans  8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

You must avoid living the lifestyle of natural or sensuality.

1 Corinthians  2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

James  3:13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.  3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.  3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

You must not be living in pleasure , the lifestyle of the unregenerate at this perilous times.

1 Timothy  5:6 But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

2 Timothy  3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

All of these would be attainable through Christ, when you are genuinely and biblically saved and Sanctified.

Biblical salvation.

John  3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.  3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

2 Corinthians  5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Biblical sanctification.

John  17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Hebrews  13:12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

The grace of God will help you in particular to be able to live to please God in all things and at all times.

2 Corinthians  9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

1 John  3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

This will help you to be like Christ and you shall be qualified anytime our Lord cometh.

1 John  4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

1 John  3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.  3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Let us pray.
