Jesus the sent Word.

Jesus the sent Word.

Psalms  107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the undeniable Word personified.

John  1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.

1 John  5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Revelation  19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.  19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.  19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

But then He was the sent Word.

Luke  4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Matthew  10:40 He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

Mark  9:37 Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.

But then our Lord Jesus Christ was sent to the poor, not poverty stricken.

Listen to Him again.

Luke  4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Listen to this.

Matthew  11:4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see:  11:5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

You discover from both old and new testaments who the poor are.

Isaiah  66:2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

The poor have contrite spirit. They trembles at God’s unchanging eternal infallible unfailing immutable words.

They are remorseful and penitent when something goes wrong in their lives or others.

They mourn for their own sins and sins of others.

Nehemiah  8:9 And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.

The people had the word of God and were weeping for their sins.

Do you have remorse, when the word of God, convicts you of what you have done wrong?

Nehemiah  1:3 And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire.  1:4 And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven,  1:5 And said, I beseech thee, O LORD God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments:  1:6 Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father’s house have sinned.  1:7 We have dealt very corruptly against thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments, which thou commandedst thy servant Moses.

Matthew  5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew  26:75 And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.

Luke  18:10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.  18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.  18:12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.  18:13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.  18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Jesus the sent Word wants to heal and deliver you from all forms of sicknesses, diseases, longstanding, incurable and  terminal. He wants to deliver you from all oppressions, afflictions, obsessions, nightmares, attacks, curses and all the ills of satan against your life.

Psalms  107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

Luke  4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

But are you poor in spirit or proud?

This time, pray and say Lord make give me contrite spirit, help me to tremble at your word, make me poor and not proud in the spirit.

If their is sin in your life or others, mourn and pray about it.

Please pray.

Please pray to Jesus to keep you healthy or heal you if you are sick.

Let us pray.
