God knows the real reason behind all your actions.

God knows the real reason behind all your actions.

Beloved Brethren, people inside and outside of the church have specific reasons behind their actions.

Many  times they pretend to be doing something, however they have ulterior motives behhind whatever they are doing.

Pilate ultimately succumbed to the desires of the Jews to crucify Jesus.

His wife warned Him, not to anything contrary, because Jews was a wise person.

Matthew  27:19 When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.

John  19:8 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid;  19:9 And went again into the judgment hall, and saith unto Jesus, Whence art thou? But Jesus gave him no answer.  19:10 Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee?  19:11 Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin.  19:12 And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar’s friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar.  19:13 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha.  19:14 And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!  19:15 But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.  19:16 Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away.

Multitude of people justified why they carried out some actions.

But then God knows better and understands what informed whatever they have done.

Luke  16:15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

Pilate was persuaded that the Jews wanted Jews  crucified because of envy.

Matthew  27:17 Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ?  27:18 For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.  27:19 When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.

However,  he finally gave consent to the demands of the Jews, simply because, he did not loose his job as governor or representative of Caesar.

John  19:12 And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar’s friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar.

Men’s hearts are very deceitful. However, God can always discern reasons behind their every actions and that of yours too.

Don’t ever forget, God understands better, the reasons why you are doing something, even though you might feigned or advance other reasons why you are doing whatever you are doing.

Jeremiah  17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?  17:10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

God at the end of time will judge you according to the real motive behind whatever you have done.

Ecclesiastes  12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.  12:14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

Christ our Lord will do same because He understands better your heart and the reasons for all your actions.

Revelation  22:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.  22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

The scripture says at the end of time there will be multitude of deceivers, deceiving and being deceived themselves.

2 Timothy  3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

A genuine man of God in Bible days died miserably, because a so called prophet lied unto him.

1 Kings  13:15 Then he said unto him, Come home with me, and eat bread.  13:16 And he said, I may not return with thee, nor go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in this place:  13:17 For it was said to me by the word of the LORD, Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou camest.  13:18 He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.  13:19 So he went back with him, and did eat bread in his house, and drank water.  13:24 And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase.

Always remember,  Jesus will reward you in particular ultimately at the end of time according to your real motive for doing all that you did.

Revelation  22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.  22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.  22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.  22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Let us pray.
