The confession of Pilate and others about the sinless lifestyle of Jesus, crucified for the redemption of humanity.

The confession of Pilate and others about the sinless lifestyle of Jesus, crucified for the redemption of humanity.

John  18:38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.

Over and over Pilate, even though succumbed at last, because of the desperation and manipulation of the Sanhedrin to get our Lord crucified, confessed His innocence.

Listen to the following:

John  19:4 Pilate therefore went forth again, and saith unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that ye may know that I find no fault in him.

John  19:6 When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.

Matthew  27:17 Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ?  27:18 For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.  27:24 When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it.

Confession of Pilate and King Herod.

Luke  23:13 And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,  23:14 Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:  23:15 No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him.

Confession of the wife of Pilate.

Matthew  27:19 When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.

Our Lord confirmed  satan had no accusation against Him.

John  14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

The Sanhedrin also  could not accuse Him of sin.

John  8:46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?

Judas before committing suicide confessed our Lord was innocent.

Matthew  27:3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,  27:4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see thou to that.

The blessed Holy Spirit also affirmed the sinless lifestyle of our Lord

1 Peter  2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:  2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:  2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

1 Peter  3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

Despite all of these our Lord, voluntarily submitted to the painful, shameful,  gruesome and excruciating death, for you to be redeemed.

John  10:17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.  10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

Romans  5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Ephesians  2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.  2:14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;  2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;  2:16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

Hebrews  2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.  2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Isaiah  53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.  53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.  53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.  53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.  53:8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

1 Peter  1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;  1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:  1:20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

What will you do with the great sacrifice of Christ for your redemption?

Romans  8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Come to Him and take advantage of His vicarious sacrifice to secure blissful eternity hereafter.

Matthew  11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Let us pray.
