Jesus’s painful, shameful, gruesome and excruciating death for your redemption and justification.

Jesus’ s painful, shameful, gruesome and excruciating death and it’s earthly and eternal blessings.

John  18:14 Now Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.

John  11:49 And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,  11:50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.  11:51 And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;  11:52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.

When you were enemies of God, Jesus died for you.

Romans  5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

In the same token God the Father showed His love to you by making Jesus Christ His Son to die for your sins.

Romans  5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

The totality of earthly and eternal

blessings coming from God are received freely through Christ’s redemptive works and vicarious sacrifice.

Romans  8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

The death of our Lord for humanity was something that had happened right from the foundation of the world.

1 Peter  1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;  1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:  1:20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,  1:21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

Revelation  13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Abraham while talking with Isaac, when he was tested prophesied about it.

Genesis  22:6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.  22:7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?  22:8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

John the Baptist proclaimed it.

John  1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.  1:30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.  1:31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.  1:32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.  1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.  1:34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.  1:35 Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;  1:36 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!

Jesus died to rescue humanity from the consequences of the sin of Adam and Eve.

Romans  5:15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.  5:16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.  5:17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)  5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.  5:19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.  5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

By the reason of His death, justification came to humanity.

Romans  3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;  3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:  3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;  3:26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

Romans  5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

Forgiveness of sin came to humanity.

Ephesians  1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Colossians  1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:  1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Isaiah  53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.  53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.  53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.  53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.  53:8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

1 Peter  2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:  2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:  2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:  2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Jesus’s death brought humanity back to God.

1 Peter  3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

Only our Lord Jesus Christ’s sacrifice can set humanity completely free from all sins.

1 John  2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:  2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

1 John  4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.  4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Matthew  1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Endeavor to ensure His shameful, painful, gruesome and excruciating death would not be in vain concerning you.

The good Lord will help you to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.

2 Timothy  3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Let us pray.
