Instances of usage of the name of Jesus.

Peter

Acts  3:2 And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;  3:3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.  3:4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.  3:5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.  3:6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.  3:7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.  3:8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.  3:9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

Acts  9:32 And it came to pass, as Peter passed throughout all quarters, he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda.  9:33 And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy.  9:34 And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.

Paul.

Acts  16:16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:  16:17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.  16:18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

Sinners and unbelievers  can not used the precious exalted name of Jesus Christ.

Acts  19:11 And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:  19:12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.  19:13 Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the LORD Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.  19:14 And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.  19:15 And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?  19:16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.

But then you a bonafide child of God, must take advantage of this precious exalted name of Jesus Christ and your joy shall be full, till He comes in Jesus name.

John  16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.  16:24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Let us pray.
