Entire Sanctification, requisite for readiness for the imminent rapture.

Entire Sanctification, requisite for readiness for the imminent rapture.

1 Thessalonians  5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Sanctification is the second work of grace.

God’s Word teaches:
That entire sanctification is a definite act of God’s grace, subsequent to the New Birth, by which the believer’s heart is purified and made holy.

Second work of grace.

Psalms  24:3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?  24:4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

Psalms  51:7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Ezekiel  36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.  36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

1 John  1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John  1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Works, struggle, or suppression cannot attain it progressively, but it is obtained by faith in the sanctifying blood of Jesus Christ.

Acts  15:9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

Holiness of life and purity of heart are central to Christian living .

Luke  1:74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,  1:75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

John  17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.  17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.  17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.  17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

1 Thessalonians  4:3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:  4:4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;  4:7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.  4:8 He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit.

1 Thessalonians  5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.  5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.  5:24 Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

Titus  2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,  2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;  2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;  2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Hebrews  12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

1 Peter  1:14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:  1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;  1:16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

Because of the importance of sanctification, all the personalities in the Godhead, can sanctify you.

Sanctification by God the Father.

Leviticus  20:7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God.  20:8 And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you.

1 Thessalonians  5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Sanctification by Christ.

Hebrews  2:11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren.

John  17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.  17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.  17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

Ephesians  5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;  5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,  5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Hebrews  10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.  10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

Hebrews  13:12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.  13:13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

Sanctification by the blessed Holy Spirit.

Romans  15:16 That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

Remember, God is holy. Jesus Christ is holy. The Spirit of God is holy. He is the Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost. The spirit of holiness.

Romans  1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

Heaven is a holy place .

Deuteronomy  26:15 Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

Psalms  15:1 Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?

Psalms  24:3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?

To be part of the imminent rapture, you must be biblically sanctified.

Psalms  24:3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?  24:4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

Psalms  15:1 Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?  15:2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.  15:3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.  15:4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.  15:5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

2 Corinthians  7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Reach out to Jesus, now, if you have not been sanctified and with His blood, He will sanctify you.

Hebrews  13:12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.  13:13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.  13:14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

1 John  1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Then you will be qualified for the imminent rapture, anytime, it takes place.

Let us pray.
