Avoiding the undoing of the first world, requisite for readiness for the imminent rapture.

AVOIDING THE UNDOING OF THE FIRST WORLD, REQUISITE FOR PARTAKING IN THE IMMINENT RAPTURE.

Matthew  24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,  24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  24:40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.  24:41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Luke  17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.  17:27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.  .  17:30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.  17:34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.  17:35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.  17:36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Carnality, sensuality and materialism were the undoing of the inhabitants of the first world.

Genesis  6:1 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,  6:2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

Very very unfortunately, as it happened then, so it is happening now in the church.

Revelation  3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;  3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.  3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.  3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

The inhabitants of the earth before the flood were sensual and carnal, those who profess to be followers of Christ are doing exactly today.

1 Corinthians  2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Romans  8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.  8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

2 Timothy  3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,  3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;  3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

But for you who desire to be part of the imminent rapture, the blessed Holy Spirit has the following exhortations for you.

Romans  12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Ephesians  5:10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.  5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.  5:12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

1 Timothy  5:6 But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth.

James  4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

1 John  2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.  2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.  2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

You must believe the word of God and live by it, as Noah did.

Hebrews  11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

1 Peter  3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

You must live in readiness for the imminent rapture and preach it to people in your world of influence, to get them prepared, as Noah did.

2 Peter  2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

You must continually discountenance scoffers, who are controverting the truth about the imminent rapture.

2 Peter  3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,  3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.  3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:  3:6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

Doing all of these will help you to adequately prepare and partake in the imminent rapture whenever it takes place.

The good Lord shall help you in particular in Jesus name.
