The biblical love of Jesus for God the Father.

Exemplary biblical love of Jesus.

John  14:31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

Our Lord Jesus Christ again through His exemplary lifestyle, during His earthly ministry, revealed to His followers of all ages and you in particular, on the biblical ways of loving God.  Listen to it again.

John  14:31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

The blessed Holy Spirit affirmed same also through apostle John.

1 John  5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

The  singular biblical way of showing our love to our Father in heaven, is by obeying His commandments, wholeheartedly.

This you see in the lifestyle of our Lord Jesus Christ, during His earthly ministry.

Over and over the scriptures affirmed this to you. Listen to how our Lord, wholeheartedly heeded the commandments of His Father in all things and at all times.

John  12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.  12:50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

John  10:17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.  10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

John  12:27 Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.

John  18:10 Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.  18:11 Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father hath given me, shall I not drink it?

Matthew  26:38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.  26:39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

John  6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

John  8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.  8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

John  4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

Listen to the testimonies of the blessed Holy Spirit about the lifestyle of obedience of our Lord, during His earthly ministry.

Philippians  2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:  2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:  2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:  2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Hebrews  5:7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared;  5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

Hebrews  10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:  10:6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.  10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.  10:8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;  10:9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

Hebrews  12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.  12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Our Lord Jesus Christ has left the example for us to follow, for us to be fulfilled here and access blissful eternity hereafter.

Listen to Him.

John  14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.  14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.  14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.

John  15:9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

Pause and sincerely examine yourself. Do you think you love God the Father, the way Jesus Christ loved Him?

Do you love Jesus, the way , He wants you to love Him?

2 Corinthians  13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

I am persuaded of you that your

response should be affirmative yes.  But if not, then, repent, now, tomorrow might be too late.

God is willing to pardon you, if you sincerely repent.

Acts  17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:  17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

But then, the repentance must be now.

2 Corinthians  6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Let us pray.
