Evidence of biblical love for Jesus.

John  14:20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.  14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.  14:22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?  14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.  

The true measure of the love you have for Jesus can be measured by how willingly and joyfully, you are keeping His commandments.   Listen to it again.

This becomes necessary because our Lord proved His love for His Father, by keeping His commandments. 

John 14:31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

John  15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

The Bible both in the old and new testaments affirmed that, the love of God in His saints can be seen by their wholeheartedly keeping His commandments.

Old testament 

Exodus  20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Deuteronomy  5:10 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments.

Deuteronomy  7:9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

Deuteronomy  10:12 And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,  10:13 To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?

Daniel  9:4 And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;

New testament, 

John  14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John  15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

John  15:14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

1 John  5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

2 John  1:6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

The failure of anyone professing religion to keep God’s commandments is an evidence that such a person does not love Jesus. 

John 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me.  

Please be very very sincere to yourself and examine yourself on the revelation of the scriptures. Do you love Jesus? 

2 Corinthians  13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

If discover you love Him,continue till He comes. 

But if it no,this is the time to repent, tomorrow might be too late. 

Acts  17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:  17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

The Lord is calling you in particular to love Jesus by keeping His commandments. 

John  15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
