Christ promised timeless comfort for Bible believing believers.

Christ promised timeless comfort for Bible believing believers.

John  14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Because of the awareness of our Lord of the endless and lifetime conflicts  of His people with the kingdom of darkness.

He also promised them an abiding, enduring continued and unending comfort of a lifetime.

Listen to the numerous promises both in the old and new testaments.

John  14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

John  14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

John  16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Psalms  23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Isaiah  43:1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

Isaiah  51:12 I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;

Isaiah  66:11 That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.  66:12 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.  66:13 As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

2 Corinthians  1:2 Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.  1:3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;  1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.  1:5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.  1:6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

2 Thessalonians  2:16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

Hebrews  2:18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Matthew  18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Matthew  28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Hebrews  13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Beloved with all these ongoing, unfailing, unchanging and unending promises,  Bible believing believers have no reason to look back or stray away from the fellowship of an unfailing, ever present and loving strong Redeemer.

Proverbs  23:11 For their redeemer is mighty; he shall plead their cause with thee.

Isaiah  48:17 Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

Jeremiah  50:34 Their Redeemer is strong; the LORD of hosts is his name: he shall throughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and disquiet the inhabitants of Babylon.

He is dependable, reliable and faithful,  hold unto Him, whatever is happening around you till the end.

Isaiah  45:22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.

Matthew  24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Revelation  2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

The good Lord shall help you in particular in Jesus name.

John  14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Let us pray.
