The compassionate Jesus in your afflictions.

The compassionate Jesus in your afflictions.

John  11:29 As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto him.  11:30 Now Jesus was not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Martha met him.  11:31 The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goeth unto the grave to weep there.  11:32 Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.  11:33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled,  11:34 And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.  11:35 Jesus wept.

Dearly beloved, Mary and Martha her sister, were in deep agony and mourning the loss of their brother Lazarus.

They were confident that, if Jesus had been there earlier, their brother would not have died.

But what they did not realize was that, no case was closed, as far as Jesus was concerned.  He could reopen any case, no matter how bad the situation might have been.

But then apart this, our Lord also could feel their grief.  He wept because of their pains.

You must always remember, that,  He is doing same for you, because of this present challenge in your life.

Isaiah  63:9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.

No wonder listen to His numerous promises for you in particular.

Psalms  16:10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Joshua  1:5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.  1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Matthew  28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Hebrews  13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.  13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Remember the Lord is aware of your present challenges and He is doing something about them.

Exodus  3:7 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;  3:8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.  3:9 Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.  3:10 Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.

John  16:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.  16:21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.  16:22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.  16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.  16:24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Be rest assured that these challenges shall turn to testimonies.

Luke  21:13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

This is because:

1. You are the apple of His eyes.

Zechariah  2:8 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.

2. He will succor you.

Hebrews  2:18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

3. He fully your predicament.

Hebrews  4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

4. Your tears are remembered.

Psalms  56:8 Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

Like He was angel to others in Bible days.  He will be your angel too.

Genesis  48:16 The Angel which redeemed me from all evil, bless the lads; and let my name be named on them, and the name of my fathers Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow into a multitude in the midst of the earth.

Exodus  23:20 Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

And through His works on the cross, you shall be blessed.

Revelation  1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,  1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Revelation  5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;  5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Galatians  3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:  3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Jesus remembers you, don’t be troubled.

John  14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

Let us pray.
