John  11:21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.  11:22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.  11:23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.  11:24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.  11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:  11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?  11:27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

John  11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?  11:27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

Martha’s confession about our Lord was profound and pungent. Herself and Mary and Lazarus their Brother, really know Jesus and were faithful disciples of Christ.

The Christ, the Messiah. 

Jesus in deed is the Christ, the Messiah.

1.Confessions of Peter.

Matthew  16:13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?  16:14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.  16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?  16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

John  6:66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.  6:67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?  6:68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.  6:69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

2. Confession of the angel.

Luke  2:10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.  2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

John  4:39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.  4:40 So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days.  4:41 And many more believed because of his own word;  4:42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

4. Confession of Nathaniel.

John  1:48 Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.  1:49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

John  9:35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when he had found him, he said unto him, Dost thou believe on the Son of God?  9:36 He answered and said, Who is he, Lord, that I might believe on him?  9:37 And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.  9:38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.

John  20:26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.  20:27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.  20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God.  20:29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.  20:30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:  20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name

7. Confession of the Euthopian  eunuch.

.Acts  8:36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?  8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  8:38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

You also must believe and confess that, Jesus is the Christ, the Messiah. Your Messiah. The Son of the living God.

1 John  5:1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
