PLEASING GOD, THE REQUISITE FOR PARTAKING IN THE IMMINENT RAPTURE.
Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
Beloved brethren, the imminent rapture is the one event that Bible believing believers all over the world are waiting for.
But Enoch an old testament saint was privileged to experience it.
The Bible says, this happened to Him, because He pleased God.
The Bible further gave us more understanding of what he did to please God.
Genesis 5:22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: 5:23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
For anyone to walk with God, He must be in an agreement with Him in all things and at all times.
Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed.
This was the lifestyle of Enoch and the blessed Holy Spirit said, He lived a lifestyle that pleased God.
Our Lord Jesus Christ also lived a lifestyle during His earthly ministry that pleased God. Listen to the testimonies of God the Father about Him.
Matthew 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Matthew 17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
Our Lord Himself explained to His followers of all ages, how , He consistently lived a lifestyle of pleasing His Father during His earthly ministry.

1 Thessalonians 2:4 But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts.
Apostle John did the same thing.
1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
In both the old and new testaments, the Bible reveals to us, those in Bible days, who lived lifestyle that displeased the Lord.
The singular undoing of these people was that lived in the flesh, pleasing themselves.
Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Listen to the following:
Samson.
Judges 14:3 Then his father and his mother said unto him, Is there never a woman among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said unto his father, Get her for me; for she pleaseth me well.
King David.
2 Samuel 11:26 And when the wife of Uriah heard that Uriah her husband was dead, she mourned for her husband. 11:27 And when the mourning was past, David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the LORD.
The Jews.
Isaiah 2:6 Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.
The Sanhedrin.
1 Thessalonians 2:15 Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:
However, the Lord is admonishing you to walk and please Him, to help you prepare adequately for the imminent rapture, like Enoch did.
1 Thessalonians 4:1 Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.
Listen to it again.
Genesis 5:22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: 5:23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
This will be possible as you experience biblical salvation and sanctification.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
You are free from sin and you become a new creature.

Doing this will help you to live a life of readiness that will help you to partake in the imminent rapture any time it happens.
The question is are you living a lifestyle that pleases the Lord, like our Lord Jesus Christ, Enoch, apostle John and Paul apostle?
Your response must be an affirmative yes.
But if it is no, this is the time to do something about it.
The good Lord shall help you in particular in Jesus name.
Let us pray.
