Jesus’s worthwhile exaltation of His Father in heaven. ( click for detail information.)

Jesus’s worthwhile and remarkable exaltation of His Father.

John  10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

During the earthly ministry of our Lord, He reverenced and honoured His Father in heaven.

Over and over, He made His followers of all ages and you in particular to know, that His Father in heaven was greater than Him.

John  14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

He went further to even revealed of somethings  that, the Father alone, knew and He did not know.

Mark  13:31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.  13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

Acts  1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?  1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

Our  Lord reverenced and honoured the Father in His teachings and conduct.

Matthew  6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.  6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Luke  10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.  10:22 All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

John  4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

John  6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

John  8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.  8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

John  9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

John  12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.  12:50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

John  14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

John  14:31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

John  17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.

17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

17:25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

Our Lord made it crystal clear that God the Father was greater than Him.

John  14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

He also made His followers of all ages and you in particular to know that, His Father is your Father too

John  20:17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

He has left example for you on how, even you should be relating with God, for you to have ceaseless earthly and eternal blessings from Him .

1 Peter  2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

You have been doing it, continue to do it, till He comes.

Revelation  2:25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.

If you have not been doing so, then begin to do likewise, like Jesus did

Luke  10:37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

Let us pray.
