The catching away of the saints. Part 18. ( Click here for more details. )

THE CERTAINTY OF THE IMMINENT CATCHING AWAY OF THE DEAD IN CHRIST AND LIVING SAINTS BY CHRIST.  Stid  18.

Revelation  4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.  4:2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.  4:3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.  4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.  4:5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

I have always said that the twenty four elders were raptured saints,  can the scriptures affirm this to us.

Revelation  4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.  4:10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,  4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

Revelation  5:1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.  5:2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?  5:3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.  5:4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.  5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.  5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.  5:7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.  5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.  5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;  5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Now that we have established from the scriptures that the twenty four elders are the raptured saints. Let’s move on.

Beloved, as you have discovered the importance of the needful truths that chapter twelve of the book of Revelation, reveals.

It opens your understanding of what happened in dateless past, when Lucifer attempted to dethrone the almighty God, but failed and was driven out of heaven with the deceived one third of the angels of God, that joined forces with him in the plot.

In addition it reveals the determined resolve of the  devil to persecute the nation of Israel and the entire wholewide world, during the great tribulation that shall precede the imminent rapture . You shall be part of  the imminent rapture in Jesus name. It shall not elude you in particular in Jesus name.

The following verses unravel the indescribable calamities Israel as a nation shall suffer  during the second half of the three and half years of the great tribulation, when the Antichrist would have broken the false peace pact , he had with them.

Daniel 9:27  And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

The one week symbolizes seven years.

Now see these verses that unravel the indescribable sufferings of Israel in particular.

Revelation  12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.  12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.  12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.  12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.  12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

But then the good news is that at this time, the church would have been raptured.

You in particular would have been raptured.

Then God will save some of them.

This is because of the covenant He had with them.

Romans  11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.  11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:  11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

Zechariah  13:8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.  13:9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

Beloved in the previous studies, you have discovered this woman was  the nation of Israel.

Revelation 12:1.  And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

The child she brought forth was Christ our Lord, during His incarnation.

That was the birth of Christ.

He was caught up to heaven, after His death and resurrection. This means the ascension of Christ, back to heaven.

Revelation 12:5  And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

Mark 16:19  So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

The chapter further reveals the remnants that shall be saved, protected and preserved, during the remaining three and half years of the great tribulation.

Revelation 12:6  And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

During the second part of the three and half years, the remnants that shall seek the Lord, that is the Messiah that was initially rejected shall be preserved and protected.

It is a confirmation of the vision shown to Moses. The bush burning, but not consumed.

The people shall be severly persecuted but not totally destroyed.

Revelation 12:14  And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

Exodus 3:2  And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

This happen to them because of the covenant God made with them as nation.

Listen to them basking in the reliability of this covenant.

Psalms  124:1 If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;  124:2 If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us:  124:3 Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:  124:4 Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:  124:5 Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.  124:6 Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.  124:7 Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.  124:8 Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

Listen to this same preservation and protection of Israel  was prophesized by our Lord.

Mark  13:19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.  13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

Beloved, the devil has unique reasons why he determinedly persecute Israel as a nation.

Listen to it yourself.

Revelation 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

Revelation 12:17  And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The major reason was because it was  the nation of Israel that produced the Savior of the world.

Genesis 3:15  And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

But then the great tribulation shall not be limited to Israel alone but the whole wide world.

Revelation  12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.  12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

The devil is after the inhabitants of the whole world.  This includes the believers of all ages and that includes you.

Revelation 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

But then, while he and his cohorts are doing this, the good Lord shall protect the elect and you are included.

Hebrews  13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.  13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

You remember the prayer of our Lord Jesus Christ for His followers of all ages especially you, before He went to the cross.

John 17:11  And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.

John 17:15  I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

Now see in details the persecution of the nation of Israel.

Revelation 12:13  And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

Revelation 12:15  And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

The flood in this verse symbolizes the innumerable numbers of the armies of Antichrist that shall be deployed to destroy the people.

Revelation 12:17  And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

As  the people of Israel are being severely persecuted, some remnants shall begin to seek for the rejected Messiah sincerely and they shall be saved.

Remember Israel as a nation is severely persecuted, because Christ our Lord came from the nation.

Genesis 3:15  And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Listen to  divers prophecies about these persecutions, during the second half of the great tribulation.

Daniel  7:21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;  7:22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.

Israel was referred to as saints, because by this time, the church has been raptured.

However, they shall begin to turn to the Lord.

Daniel  7:23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.  7:24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.  7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Daniel  11:40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.  11:41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.  11:42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.  11:43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.  11:44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.

But then at this time, the great tribulation shall not be limited to Israel alone but the whole world.

Daniel 12:7  And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

Amos  5:18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.  5:19 As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.  5:20 Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

This severe and intense  sufferings shall compel  them, to begin to seek the rejected Messiah. listen to the prophecy of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Matthew  24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)  24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:  24:17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:  24:18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.  24:19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!  24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:  24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.  24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.  24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.  24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.  24:25 Behold, I have told you before.

The Antichrist shall do this cruel acts against Israel for three and half years and even blaspheme God.

Revelation 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Beloved, if Israel shall seek for the Messiah, during this intense persecution.

What excuse does some nominal churchgoers today, compromising because of inconsequential challenges of this present time ?

Pause a little here. Are you compromising because of the seemingly insignificant or incomparable challenges of today against the period of great tribulation?

I am persuaded you are not. But if you are, repent now. Listen to what the Bible says about the challenges now , compared with the time of great  tribulation.

Jeremiah 12:5  If thou hast run with the footmen, and they have wearied thee, then how canst thou contend with horses? and if in the land of peace, wherein thou trustedst, they wearied thee, then how wilt thou do in the swelling of Jordan?

Endeavor to be part of the imminent rapture, which is the resurrection morning, prophesied in the passage below.

Isaiah  21:11 The burden of Dumah. He calleth to me out of Seir, Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?  21:12 The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will enquire, enquire ye: return, come.

Listen to the timely warning from our Lord.

Luke  21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.  21:35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.  21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Beloved, the good news is that the great tribulation shall fulfill one of its purposes.

Some people of Israel shall be saved.

Revelation 12:14  And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

This period here is the three and  half years of the great tribulation.

The wing of great eagle is the support, protection and preservation God will give them as He did, when He delivered them in Egypt.

Listen to it.

Exodus 19:4  Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.

Deuteronomy  32:11 As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:  32:12 So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.  32:13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock;  32:14 Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure blood of the grape.

God will  surely  help them as He did when he brought them out of Egypt.

Sincere seekers of the rejected Messiah shall escape .

He will give them unusual protection from the hands of the Antichrist.

Psalms 91:4  He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

Satan will make  effort to destroy them all  but will fail

Revelation 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Revelation 12:16  And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

God will protect the remnants that believe, as seen in the passage above.

The earth opened her mouth to swallow the flood.

Remember the flood are the innumerable numbers of armies of the Antichrist deployed to destroy them.

The land opening is a repeat of what God did against Korah and his team, when they opposed Moses in  the wilderness.

The land will open and swallow the armies of the Antichrist.

Listen to it.

Numbers  16:31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:  16:32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.  16:33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.

While God shall protect Israel because of His covenant. The gentiles even though shall be saved but with indescribable sufferings.

Isaiah  16:1 Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.  16:2 For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.  16:3 Take counsel, execute judgment; make thy shadow as the night in the midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; bewray not him that wandereth.  16:4 Let mine outcasts dwell with thee, Moab; be thou a covert to them from the face of the spoiler: for the extortioner is at an end, the spoiler ceaseth, the oppressors are consumed out of the land.  16:5 And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.

Beloved, don’t forget, believers of all ages and you in particular are not appointed for wrath of the great tribulation.

1 Thessalonians 5:9  For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

So do the needful to be saved and escape the imminent great tribulation as Lot was told to escape the destruction of Sodom and Gomorah.

Hebrews 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

Genesis 19:17  And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.

Beloved  escape now to avoid the fire of great tribulation.

Psalms 55:8  I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest.

Listen to what you must do to escape.

1. Biblical salvation.

2. Total separation from the world and worldly practices or worldliness.

3. Prayer and supplication. Watch and pray.

4. Holiness of life and sanctification.

Hebrews 12:14  Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

5. Endure present challenges and persecutions.

Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life..

6. Be steadfast and persevere to the end.

7.  Service. Reach out  to the lost to help them escape too. So serve the Lord.

Malachi  3:16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.  3:17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.  3:18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

Beloved let us compare the protection God shall give to Israel as a nation, during the great tribulation and protection for today’s  believers of all ages and you in particular, the Israeli of God.

Galatians  6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.  6:16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

  Listen to t.

Revelation  12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

Isaiah  59:19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.  59:20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD.  59:21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.

As  some remnants  of the people of Israel shall turn to the Lord and s be saved. God will protect them.

The sincere  believers of today enjoys uncommon protection from God.

Psalms 32:7 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

God will protect and preserve  His people today

Listen to the innumerable unfailing  promises of God.

Psalms  27:4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.  27:5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.  27:6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

Proverbs 18:10  The name of the Lord is a strong tower:the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

Isaiah 43:2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

Hebrews  13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.  13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Beloved , because you are secured today through uncommon and unusual protection from the Lord.

What must you do to sustain it, until Christ comes?

Surrender all to the Lord

Stay close to the Lord.

Seek the Lord in prayers

Speak for the Lord. Invite them to come to Jesus.

Serve Jesus with love.

Save the lost

Stand for the Lord.

Beloved as you determinedly do all of these, your place among the twenty four elders apostle John saw in the revelations our Lord showed him, shall be guaranteed and secure in Jesus name.

See you at the top in Jesus name.
