Christ the earthly and eternal lights. 

John  9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

Our Lord Jesus Christ lives.

John  14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

Revelation  1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Because He lives, Bible believing believers who choose to follow Him wholeheartedly shall not walk in darkness or fall a prey into the , devices, snares and wiles of the wicked ones.

John  8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
2 Corinthians  2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Ephesians  6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.  6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Jesus being light lived exemplary lifestyle for Bible believing believers and you in particular to follow and replicate.John  17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

No controversy Jesus is the earthly and eternal lights for His followers of all ages and that includes you.

John  1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.  1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.  1:6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.  1:7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.  1:8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.  1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

John  3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.  3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.  3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

John  12:35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.  12:36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.  

12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.

Matthew  4:15 The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;  4:16 The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

Luke  2:30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,  2:31 Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;  2:32 A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.

Through the exemplary lifestyle of our Lord Jesus Christ, He gives us light.

Ephesians  5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

When you embrace and replicate His lifestyle, you become to shine as light like Him.

1 Peter  2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

Matthew  11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

Matthew  5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.  5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.  5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Philippians  2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

This lifestyle of the likeness of Christ shall guarantee your eternal well being.

Romans  8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Then you enjoy heaven for ever lightened by Christ.

Revelation  21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
