Walking with God, condition for readiness for the imminent rapture or eternity with God. ( Click here for more details. )

Walking with God condition for readiness for the imminent rapture.

Genesis  5:21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:  5:22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:  5:23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:  5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

For sixty five years, Enoch was like every other human beings without the  God on this earth and on his way to perdition should he died.

2 Chronicles  15:3 Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.

But then at the age of sixty five , he had encounter with God. How we  don’t know, but if you want to know, do everything to be part of the imminent rapture, so that in eternity, you will ask him.

Genesis  5:21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:  5:22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

Two things happened to him according to new testament language.

He was biblically saved and Sanctified.  This is because walking with God is the second work of grace.

To be walking with God is to have your heart circumcised, or experience the removal of heart of stone, or to be perfect in nature like God, or to experience heart purity or to be  holy and Sanctified and to be pleasing God in all things like Jesus.

In addition when you are walking with God, you are walking in the way of Holiness or the narrow road.

Circumcision of heart.

Deuteronomy  30:6 And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

Removal of heart of stone

Ezekiel  36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Perfect in nature like God.

Genesis  6:9 These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Genesis  17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

Isaiah  38:2 Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD,  38:3 And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight.

Purity of heart.Acts  15:7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.  15:8 And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;  15:9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
Holiness of life.
1 Thessalonians  2:10 Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:

Sanctification.
John  17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.  17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.  17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.  17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.  17:18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.  17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.  17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

Pleasing God.
John  8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

Hebrews  11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Way of holiness.

Isaiah  35:8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.  35:9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:

Narrow road

Matthew  7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

So this is the way to explain biblically what happened to Enoch.

Genesis  5:21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:  5:22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

Amos  3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

Enoch was living in agreement with God for three hundred years.

Genesis  5:22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:  5:23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:  5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

He was also turning others to righteousness to avoid the wrath coming on sinners.

Jude  1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,  1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Very very unfortunately in the time past and even till this present moment, multitude in the church that profess religion were called and are still being called to walk like Enoch walked and they stubbornly declined.

Jeremiah  6:16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Beloved Brethen please sincerely examine yourself are you walking in the way of holiness or the narrow road?

That is what it will take to be part of the imminent rapture or eternity with God.

Beloved because you desire to be part of the imminent rapture or eternity with God, This morning the good Lord is calling you in particular to walk with Him.Isaiah  2:5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.
Receive grace to be doing it, till Christ comes in Jesus name.
Let us pray.
