The Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ.

John  8:52 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.  8:53 Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?  8:54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:  8:55 Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.  8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.  8:57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?  8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.  8:59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

The Divinity and  eternal  existence  of Jesus the Christ, difficult pill for the Jews to swallow.

The major reason why our Master and Lord was crucified was because the Jews disbelieved His Divinity and eternal existence.

Matthew  26:62 And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?  26:63 But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.  26:64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.  26:65 Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.  26:66 What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of death.

John  19:6 When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Take ye him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.  19:7 The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.

But the truth is our Lord Jesus Christ has been from eternity past.

Follow me to the scriptures both in the old and new testaments.

John  1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.

John  17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.  17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

Micah  5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

Exodus  23:20 Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.  23:21 Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him.  23:22 But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.

Joshua  5:13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?  5:14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?  5:15 And the captain of the LORD’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

Hebrews  2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.  2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Proverbs  8:22 The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.  8:23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.  8:24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.  8:25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:  8:26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.  8:27 When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:  8:28 When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:  8:29 When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:  8:30 Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

Isaiah  9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Daniel  7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.  7:14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Daniel  2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.  2:45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

Daniel  3:24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.  3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.

Colossians  1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:  1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.  1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Hebrews  13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

1 Peter  1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;  1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:  1:20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

Revelation  1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.  1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

Revelation  1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Revelation  2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;

Revelation  13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Revelation  17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Today some people are at war with Him, while we worship His majesty.  They are fightting Him, while we wholeheartedly follow Him.

Examine yourself sincerely, where do you belong, if you believe in His Divinity then you will wholeheartedly obey Him.Hebrews  5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
