Jesus exemplary lifestyle.

John  8:13 The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.  8:14 Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.  8:15 Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.  8:16 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.  8:17 It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.  8:18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.  8:19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.  8:20 These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.  8:21 Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.  8:22 Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.  8:23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.  8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.  8:25 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.  8:26 I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.  8:27 They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.  8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

Our Lord Jesus Christ gave us worthy example to follow.

He personally did all He taught.

Acts  1:1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

During His earthly ministry our Lord Jesus Christ was teachable.

Over and over, He informed His disciples then and by extension us, How He was taught by the Father.

John  8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

John 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.  12:50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

John  14:31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

Our Lord did all these as example for His followers of all ages and you in particular.

John  13:13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.  13:14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another’s feet.  13:15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

John  17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

No wonder He said all His followers of all ages should learn of Him.

Matthew  11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

This is because according to the blessed Holy Spirit, He has left us example to follow.

1 Peter  2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:  2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:  2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

When He was going, He gave commandment, His church, bought with His blood should be taught.

Acts  20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Matthew  28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Very very unfortunately,  His church are determinedly objecting to being  taught.

Seeing the directive of the Lord as condemnation and not correction.

Pause and examine yourself. Are you averse to biblical teachings or receptive.

Listen to what these people said.

Jeremiah  6:16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Jeremiah  44:16 As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto thee.  44:17 But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

Ezekiel  33:30 Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD.  33:31 And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.  33:32 And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.

Amos  7:12 Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there:  7:13 But prophesy not again any more at Bethel: for it is the king’s chapel, and it is the king’s court.

We should manifest good attitude to the teachings of the Lord and never see it as condemnation but correction.

Exodus  24:7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.

Acts  17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

The good Lord shall help you in particular in Jesus mighty name.
