Jesus’s lifestyle of cross bearing. ( Click here for more details. )

Jesus’s lifestyle of cross bearing.John  7:2 Now the Jews’ feast of tabernacles was at hand.  7:3 His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest.  7:4 For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world.  7:5 For neither did his brethren believe in him.

Beloved brethren, the journey to life eternal or eternity with God,  is a very great and decisive decision to get there.  A lot of people and family are associates might not understand you, but you must continue any how.

That members of your family are not born again and don’t believe what you are standing for,

Our Lord went through it, members of His household,  do not believe Him.

John  7:2 Now the Jews’ feast of tabernacles was at hand.

Yet He went through it without hatred in His Heart.

He was without sin.

Hebrews  4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.  4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.  4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

So you can wholeheartedly rest upon Him and cleave to Him.

Hebrews  2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;  2:15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.  2:16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.  2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.  2:18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

Jude  1:24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,  1:25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

Acts  11:23 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.

When you cleave unto the Lord,  so many in your family, place of work and even brethren in the church may not understand you.

To them you are not loving and they will begin to persecute you.

Matthew  10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.  10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.  10:36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.  10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.  10:38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.  10:39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

Mark  10:26 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?  10:27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.  10:28 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee.  10:29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s,  10:30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

Mark  9:43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:  9:44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.  9:45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:  9:46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.  9:47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:  9:48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

Luke  14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.  14:27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.  14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?  14:29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,  14:30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.  14:31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?  14:32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.  14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

Job suffered his brethren persecuted Him.

Job  2:7 So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.  2:8 And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes.  2:9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.  2:10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

Yet Job never hated them, but loved them and prayed for them.

Job  42:10 And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.  42:11 Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.  42:12 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.  42:13 He had also seven sons and three daughters.

Under no circumstances bust you allow anybody to make you do against God’s perfect will.

Abraham did it and Jacob did that, they both paid dearly for such unguided decisions.

You must never allow any members of your household to make you sin against God, like it happened to Abraham and  Jacob.  He paid dearly for that decision.

Abraham

Genesis  16:1 Now Sarai Abram’s wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.  16:2 And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD hath restrained me from bearing: I pray thee, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.  16:3 And Sarai Abram’s wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.  16:4 And he went in unto Hagar, and she conceived: and when she saw that she had conceived, her mistress was despised in her eyes.  16:5 And Sarai said unto Abram, My wrong be upon thee: I have given my maid into thy bosom; and when she saw that she had conceived, I was despised in her eyes: the LORD judge between me and thee.  16:6 But Abram said unto Sarai, Behold, thy maid is in thy hand; do to her as it pleaseth thee. And when Sarai dealt hardly with her, she fled from her face.

Genesis  27:1 And it came to pass, that when Isaac was old, and his eyes were dim, so that he could not see, he called Esau his eldest son, and said unto him, My son: and he said unto him, Behold, here am I.  27:2 And he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death:  27:3 Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison;  27:4 And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die.  27:5 And Rebekah heard when Isaac spake to Esau his son. And Esau went to the field to hunt for venison, and to bring it.  27:6 And Rebekah spake unto Jacob her son, saying, Behold, I heard thy father speak unto Esau thy brother, saying,  27:7 Bring me venison, and make me savoury meat, that I may eat, and bless thee before the LORD before my death.  27:8 Now therefore, my son, obey my voice according to that which I command thee.  27:9 Go now to the flock, and fetch me from thence two good kids of the goats; and I will make them savoury meat for thy father, such as he loveth:  27:10 And thou shalt bring it to thy father, that he may eat, and that he may bless thee before his death.  27:11 And Jacob said to Rebekah his mother, Behold, Esau my brother is a hairy man, and I am a smooth man:  27:12 My father peradventure will feel me, and I shall seem to him as a deceiver; and I shall bring a curse upon me, and not a blessing.  27:13 And his mother said unto him, Upon me be thy curse, my son: only obey my voice, and go fetch me them.  27:14 And he went, and fetched, and brought them to his mother: and his mother made savoury meat, such as his father loved.  27:15 And Rebekah took goodly raiment of her eldest son Esau, which were with her in the house, and put them upon Jacob her younger son:  27:16 And she put the skins of the kids of the goats upon his hands, and upon the smooth of his neck:  27:17 And she gave the savoury meat and the bread, which she had prepared, into the hand of her son Jacob.  27:18 And he came unto his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I; who art thou, my son?  27:19 And Jacob said unto his father, I am Esau thy first born; I have done according as thou badest me: arise, I pray thee, sit and eat of my venison, that thy soul may bless me.  27:20 And Isaac said unto his son, How is it that thou hast found it so quickly, my son? And he said, Because the LORD thy God brought it to me.  27:21 And Isaac said unto Jacob, Come near, I pray thee, that I may feel thee, my son, whether thou be my very son Esau or not.  27:22 And Jacob went near unto Isaac his father; and he felt him, and said, The voice is Jacob’s voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau.  27:23 And he discerned him not, because his hands were hairy, as his brother Esau’s hands: so he blessed him.  27:24 And he said, Art thou my very son Esau? And he said, I am.  27:25 And he said, Bring it near to me, and I will eat of my son’s venison, that my soul may bless thee. And he brought it near to him, and he did eat: and he brought him wine, and he drank.  27:26 And his father Isaac said unto him, Come near now, and kiss me, my son.  27:27 And he came near, and kissed him: and he smelled the smell of his raiment, and blessed him, and said, See, the smell of my son is as the smell of a field which the LORD hath blessed:  27:28 Therefore God give thee of the dew of heaven, and the fatness of the earth, and plenty of corn and wine:  27:29 Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee: cursed be every one that curseth thee, and blessed be he that blesseth thee.  27:30 And it came to pass, as soon as Isaac had made an end of blessing Jacob, and Jacob was yet scarce gone out from the presence of Isaac his father, that Esau his brother came in from his hunting.  27:31 And he also had made savoury meat, and brought it unto his father, and said unto his father, Let my father arise, and eat of his son’s venison, that thy soul may bless me.  27:32 And Isaac his father said unto him, Who art thou? And he said, I am thy son, thy firstborn Esau.  27:33 And Isaac trembled very exceedingly, and said, Who? where is he that hath taken venison, and brought it me, and I have eaten of all before thou camest, and have blessed him? yea, and he shall be blessed.  27:34 And when Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with a great and exceeding bitter cry, and said unto his father, Bless me, even me also, O my father.

In addition you must not consent to any man of God or woman of God, to make you sin against God,

Jesus left you a perfect example

You must never consent to any Peter who wanted you to drop,  God’s perfect will for your life.

Matthew  16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?  16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.  16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.  16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.  16:20 Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.  16:21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.  16:22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.  16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.  16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.  16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.  16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

To get to Heaven, you must follow the exemplary lifestyle of Jesus.

Revelation  2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Revelation  3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.  3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

The good Lord shall Lord shall keep all of us to the end in Jesus name

Matthew  10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
