The significance of the resurrection of Christ.
2 Timothy 2:8. Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:
Beloved, always remember that God’s words in the Bible are infallible, eternal, unfailing, unchanging and sure word of prophecy, settled forever.
2 Peter 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 1:21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
Psalms 119:89. For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.
Isaiah 34:16. Seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.
Isaiah 55:11. So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
All these words of God have seasons for fulfilment. At their seasons they shall surely come to pass.
Isaiah 60:22. A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the Lord will hasten it in his time.
Habakkuk 2:3. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Beloved, God honour and magnify His words than all His names including the exalted name of our Lord Jesus.
Psalms 138:2. I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.
Because of all of the above about God’s words. Give utmost importance and attention to the scripture below. Listen to it.
2 Timothy 2:8. Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel.
Pause and meditate, why Paul exhorted Timothy the next in rank in his ministry to remember that Jesus was raised from dead.
It was because the most significant reason for the resurrection of Jesus, was to affirm the certainty of the rapture of saints, especially the dead saints. Don’t ever forget this singular all important truth, too. .
The rapture involved two groups. The dead saints and living believers.
The resurrection of Christ affirmed that, in the same way Jesus died, rose up and ascended to heaven.
So dead saints shall be raised and raptured to meet our Lord in the air.
In the Old Testament, two living saints were raptured to affirm the living saints imminent rapture. Listen to them
1. Enoch.
Genesis 5:21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: 5:22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: 5:23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
Hebrews 11:5. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God…
2. Elijah, surprisingly even before Elijah was raptured, his been caught up to heaven was an open secret to the sons of prophets at Bethel and Jericho. Listen to it.
2 Kings 2:1 And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. 2:2 And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said unto him, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they went down to Bethel. 2:3 And the sons of the prophets that were at Bethel came forth to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he said, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace. 2:4 And Elijah said unto him, Elisha, tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Jericho. And he said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. So they came to Jericho. 2:5 And the sons of the prophets that were at Jericho came to Elisha, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the LORD will take away thy master from thy head to day? And he answered, Yea, I know it; hold ye your peace. 2:6 And Elijah said unto him, Tarry, I pray thee, here; for the LORD hath sent me to Jordan. And he said, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And they two went on. 2:7 And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went, and stood to view afar off: and they two stood by Jordan. 2:8 And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground. 2:9 And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me. 2:10 And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so. 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
In addition, Enoch before he was raptured, he. also, prophesied about the second coming of Christ,,that shall happen seven years after the rapture. Listen to it.
Jude 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
Beloved with all these, be rest assured that, the rapture shall take place in its season. And that season is already dawning. Please be prepared.

2 Timothy 2:8. Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:
Dearly beloved, you know that our Lord Jesus Christ was the truth personified. He could not lie.
Severally during His earthly ministry, He informed His followers in Bible days and by extension His followers of all ages, which includes you, that , the catching away of both dead and living saints , shall surely come to pass in its season. Listen to some of them.
John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
Matthew 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 24:40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 24:41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
The blessed Holy Spirit who Himself was one of the triune God and the one that shall lead raptured saints back to heaven, reminded believers of all ages about the certainty of the rapture of the saints through apostle Paul. Listen to it.
2 Timothy 2:8. Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:
See it confirmed that , the dead and living believers shall be raptured very soon
1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Please like the five wise virgins, prepare adequately for this dawning event.
It shall not elude you in Jesus name.
Friend, just like the sons of prophets knew Elijah would be taken to heaven alive without seeing death as a representation of the rapture of the living saints.
So the apostles of Christ gave more sure words of prophecies about the certainty of the dawning rapture. Listen to some of them.
2 Timothy 2:8. Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:
Listen to some more.
1. Prophecy by Paul
1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.
2. Prophecy by. Peter
1 Peter 5:1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed: 5:2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; 5:3 Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. 5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
3. Prophecy by John the beloved
1 John 3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
All of these apostles preached. about when Christ shall appear.
He will appear in the air in its season to catch the dead saints and living believers away.
I am persuaded you are daily preparing. Please don’t be tired. It is going to happen suddenly very very soon.
Get ready. The Lord shall help you in Jesus name.
See you at the top in Jesus name.
Let’s pray.
