Refusing to believe Jesus and His words, the great undoing of the Jews, avoid it. ( Click here for more details. )

Refusing to believe Jesus and His words , the great undoing of the Jews,  avoid it?

John  6:41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven.  6:42 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?  6:43 Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves.  6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

The Jews in Bible days and even now during our contemporary time has, a grievous damnable cankerworm. They neither belief Jesus nor His unfailing unchanging Infallible eternal words.

Jesus words shall not pass away.  Matthew  24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

His words shall determine your eternal well-being.

John  12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.  12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.  12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day..

No wonder the Bible says, you should not live by bread alone but, by the word.

Matthew  4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Listen to how the scriptures describe the attitudes of the Jews.

Matthew  13:54 And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?  13:55 Is not this the carpenter’s son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?  13:56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?  13:57 And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.  13:58 And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.

Matthew  17:18 And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.  17:19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?  17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Matthew  21:42 Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?  21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.  21:44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

Luke  20:17 And he beheld them, and said, What is this then that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner?  20:18 Whosoever shall fall upon that stone shall be broken; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

John  12:34 The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?  12:35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.  12:36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.  12:37 But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:  12:38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?  12:39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,  12:40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.  12:41 These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.  12:42 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:  12:43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

Hebrews  3:7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,  3:8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:  3:9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.  3:10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.  3:11 So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)  3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.  3:15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.  3:16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.  3:17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness?  3:18 And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?  3:19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

Hebrews  4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.  4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.  4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.  4:6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:  4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

The blessed Holy Spirit also affirms this damnable attitud

Romans  3:3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?

In addition to rejecting the words of Jesus, they even turned back from following Jesus.

John  6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.  6:41 The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am the bread which came down from heaven. 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.  6:60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?  6:66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.  6:67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?  6:68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.  6:69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

But then, the word of God admonished Bible believing believers like you to believe the  unchanging unfailing eternal infallible words of God in the Bible.

Mark  9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Luke  1:45 And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

John  11:40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?  11:45 Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.  11:46 But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done.  11:53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death.

One exemplary way of believing God’s words, was done by Abraham.

Romans  4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.  4:18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.  4:19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb:  4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;  4:21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

Please endeavor to believe and be obedient to the totality of God words in the Bible in all things and at all times, for your earthly and eternal well being.

Genesis  22:15 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,  22:16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:  22:17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;  22:18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
