Christlike exemplary lifestyle, requisite for partaking in imminent rapture. ( Click here for more details. )

LIVING CHRISTLIKE EXEMPLARY LIFESTYLE, REQUISITE FOR READINESS FOR THE IMMINENT RAPTURE.

2 Timothy  4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;  4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.  4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;  4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

 Beloved brethren listen to this word again.

2 Timothy  4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

The word appearing means rapture.  You will never find the word rapture in the Bible.  But then it is expressed with the word, receive you to myself, caught up ⚅ and appear.

John  14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.  14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

1. Receive you to myself. 2. Caught up. 1 Thessalonians  4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
3.  Appear or appearing.

2 Timothy  4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

Colossians  3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

This word appear or appearing are seen severally in the scriptures.  Listen.

2 Timothy  4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

1 Timothy  6:14 That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Titus  2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Hebrews  9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

1 Peter  1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

1 Peter  5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

1 John  2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

1 John  3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

So then with this understanding, what exactly was the Lord using apostle Pau to tell Timothy?

2 Timothy  4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;  4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.  4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;  4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Timothy must be like Christ or must be Christlike.

What do you know about our Lord Jesus Christ?

He lived exemplary lifestyle and did what He preached.

Acts  1:1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

As a minister who will be rewarded in eternity, you must be doing what you are preaching.

Matthew  5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

You need to know that multitude of today’s ministers are not going to be rewarded in eternity.  Why.  They don’t do that which they are preaching.

Song of Solomon  1:6 Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother’s children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.

Matthew  7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

As an heaven bound minister you must be doing, first, what you are preaching.

2 Timothy  2:6 The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.

But you say, what relevant does this have on me , when I am not a preacher.

You are very very wrong.

Listen to this.

Mark  16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.  16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;  16:18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover

Are you a believer them you are a preacher in your world of influence.

You are commissioned by Christ our Lord and Savior to preach.

Luke  19:13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.Who are you to be preaching to?  All the people in your world of influence.

Your unsaved spouse, children, parents, siblings, close and extended members of your family, neighbor’s and co workers.

For you to be effective and receive rewards in heaven, you must live exemplary lifestyle or be Christlike.

Listen to the following:

Matthew  5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.  5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.  5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.  5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

1 Timothy  4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Philippians  2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

2 Corinthians  3:2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:

By doing all of these, you shall be effective in bringing others to Christ and also these will help you to be ready always for the imminent rapture.

You will be doing what you are preaching like Christ, may the good Lord help you in particular to be wise unto salvation in Jesus name.

Let us pray.
