Seeking God First, pathway to your desired earthy and eternal blessings. ( Click here for more details. )

CONSISTENTLY SEEKING GOD AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS FIRST, PATHWAY TO DESIRED LIBERATIONS AND BREAKTHROUGHS THROUGH CHRIST.

Matthew  6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

To get the best from God in this life and eternity, you must live with eternity in view.

Everything you are doing should be done from the perspective of eternity.

This becomes necessary and compulsory because. God is righteous and loves righteousness.

Psalms  145:17 The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.

Psalms  11:7 For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

Same for Jesus Christ our Lord.

1 John  2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

1 John  2:29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

So to obtain His blessings on earth and live eternally with Him , you must have His righteousness.

Eternity with God.

Matthew  13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Blessings on earth.

Isaiah  3:10 Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

Proverbs  14:34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

1 Peter  3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

Listen to how God’s righteousness made saints in Bible days obtain desired liberations and breakthroughs through Christ.

1. Paul delivered from life threatening fourteen days none stop storms on account of righteousness.

Acts  27:18 And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship;  27:19 And the third day we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship.  27:20 And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.  27:21 But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.  27:22 And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship.  27:23 For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,  27:24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.  27:25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.  27:44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.

2Peter’s business failure turned into exceeding success because of righteousness.

Luke  5:4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.  5:5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.  5:6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.  5:7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

3Noah saved from global devastation on account of righteousness.

Hebrews  11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

Genesis  7:1 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

4. King Abimelech was healed  from death threatening sicknesses and saved from untimely death and eternal damnation on account of righteousness, doing restitution on marriage.

Genesis  20:1 And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the south country, and dwelled between Kadesh and Shur, and sojourned in Gerar.  20:2 And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah.  20:3 But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man’s wife.  20:4 But Abimelech had not come near her: and he said, LORD, wilt thou slay also a righteous nation?  20:5 Said he not unto me, She is my sister? and she, even she herself said, He is my brother: in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this.  20:6 And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her.  20:7 Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine.  20:8 Therefore Abimelech rose early in the morning, and called all his servants, and told all these things in their ears: and the men were sore afraid.  20:9 Then Abimelech called Abraham, and said unto him, What hast thou done unto us? and what have I offended thee, that thou hast brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? thou hast done deeds unto me that ought not to be done.  20:14 And Abimelech took sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and womenservants, and gave them unto Abraham, and restored him Sarah his wife.  20:15 And Abimelech said, Behold, my land is before thee: dwell where it pleaseth thee.  20:16 And unto Sarah he said, Behold, I have given thy brother a thousand pieces of silver: behold, he is to thee a covering of the eyes, unto all that are with thee, and with all other: thus she was reproved.  20:17 So Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare children.  20:18 For the LORD had fast closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech, because of Sarah Abraham’s wife.

5   Isaac had was delivered from barrenness on account of righteousness.

Genesis  25:19 And these are the generations of Isaac, Abraham’s son: Abraham begat Isaac:  25:20 And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.  25:21 And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.  25:25 And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.  25:26 And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau’s heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.

6.  Joseph was exalted and had his dream come true on account of righteousness.

Genesis  39:7 And it came to pass after these things, that his master’s wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.  39:8 But he refused, and said unto his master’s wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand;  39:9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?  39:10 And it came to pass, as she spake to Joseph day by day, that he hearkened not unto her, to lie by her, or to be with her.  39:11 And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business; and there was none of the men of the house there within.  39:12 And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out.

Genesis  41:39 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art:  41:40 Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.  41:41 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.  41:42 And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;  41:43 And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him ruler over all the land of Egypt.  41:44 And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.  41:45 And Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphnathpaaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt

7.  Daniel was delivered from fearsome death on account of righteousness.

Daniel  6:18 Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him.  6:19 Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions.  6:20 And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?  6:21 Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.  6:22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.  6:23 Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.  6:24 And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.  6:26 I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.  6:27 He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.  6:28 So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian.

But then it must be His righteousness, not yours that is filthy.

Isaiah  64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Listen to an example of such righteousness.

Romans  10:1 Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.  10:2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.  10:3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.  10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.  Listen to an instance.

Luke  18:9 And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:  18:10 Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.  18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.  18:12 I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.  18:13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.  18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

How do you attain God’s righteousness, through which you will be fulfilled on earth and had blissful eternity?

Understand they are two.

Imparted and imputed.

1. You received imputed righteousness, simply on the account of Christ’s redemptive work.

2 Corinthians  5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Romans  3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;  3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

All believers all over the world has that.

You have faith in precious blood of Jesus.

But this alone, though necessary can not open the door of heaven for you.

That is why multitude in the Christendom globally will still go to hell.

It is because they did not join imparted righteousness to the imputed Jesus gave them freely.

What then is imparted righteousness?

Hebrews  1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.  1:9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Imparted righteousness is what makes you to be like Christ, by hating iniquity.

2 Timothy  2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

It is lack of imparted righteousness that multitude shall end up in hell.

Matthew  7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.  7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?  7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

This will also affect them on earth.

They will be sickly and did young.

Psalms  107:17 Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.  107:18 Their soul abhorreth all manner of meat; and they draw near unto the gates of death.

They shall be denied good things from God.

Jeremiah  5:25 Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you.

Their prayers will never ever be answered.

Isaiah  59:1 Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:  59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Their lives, families, business shall be ruined.

Ezekiel  18:30 Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

They will be afflicted.

Psalms  119:67 Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.

And they will be denied eternity at last.

One way to avoid all of these , is to ensure in your life, the sufferings of Christ on the cross shall not be in vain.

Isaiah  53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.  53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.  53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.  53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

This morning the good Lord is set to give us all our desired liberations and breakthroughs.

But then you must be determined to be seeking God and His righteousness first in every areas of your life till Christ comes.

Matthew  6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Let us pray.
