Praising God pathway to breakthrough through Christ. ( Click here for more details. )

Matthew  26:30 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

Praising God in troublous time, pathway to desired liberations through Christ.

Our Lord sang hymn and worship His Father, before facing the  painful crucifixion.

The Bible reveals the state of His heart, when they sang the hymn to worship God the Father. Listen.

Matthew 26:20 Now when the even was come, he sat down with the twelve. 26:21 And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.  26:22 And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I?  26:23 And he answered and said, He that dippeth his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me.  26:24 The Son of man goeth as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.  26:25 Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, Thou hast said.  26:30 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.  26:38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.  26:39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt. He triumphed in the battle and was honoured by God the Father.

Hebrews  12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

King Jehoshaphat and Judah did same and overcame the three nations that came against them.

2 Chronicles  20:20 And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.  20:21 And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.  20:22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.  20:23 For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.  20:24 And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.

Habakkuk experienced lifting of the Lord, as he praised God when his nation was to be devastated.

Habakkuk  3:16 When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he cometh up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.  3:17 Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:  3:18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.  3:19 The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds’ feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.

Job had shameful challenges but never stopped praising God and came out of it with double portion. Listen to his praise.

Job  13:14 Wherefore do I take my flesh in my teeth, and put my life in mine hand?  13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.  13:16 He also shall be my salvation: for an hypocrite shall not come before him. Listen to his challenges.

Job  1:13 And there was a day when his sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house:  1:14 And there came a messenger unto Job, and said, The oxen were plowing, and the asses feeding beside them:  1:15 And the Sabeans fell upon them, and took them away; yea, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.  1:16 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.  1:17 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.  1:18 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house:  1:19 And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.  1:20 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,  1:21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.  1:22 In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

Listen to his breakthrough.

Job  42:10 And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.  42:12 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.  42:13 He had also seven sons and three daughters.

Paul had same difficult challenges yet praised God.

2 Corinthians  12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.  12:8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.  12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.  12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. No wonder he triumphed at the end of his ministry.

2 Timothy  4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:  4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Remember, Jesus promised you will live despite difficulties.

John  14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

 He  also promised you breakthroughs.

John  16:22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.  16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.  16:24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Always remember all things work for your good in life.

Romans  8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

No wonder, you are admonished to praise God in all things

1 Thessalonians  5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

However, remember, if your praise will be acceptable, it must be backed with unalloyed obedience to God in all things and at all times.

1 Samuel  15:22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.  15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

The question is are you obeying God in all things?

Are you biblically saved?

Is your name in the book of life?

Are you biblically sanctified and walking in daily holiness lifestyle with God?

Have you done your restitutions?

Are you ready for the imminent rapture or eternity with God?

Why don’t you ask God to do in you what will help you to live eternally with Him?

Then you will praise God and you will have desired liberations beyond your widest dreams in Jesus name.

Let us pray.
