John  4:39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.  4:40 So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days.  4:41 And many more believed because of his own word;  4:42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

Beloved Brethren, because of the inexcusable fall of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, humanity needed a Savior who could pay the price for their redemption from the fearsome, consequences of damnable sins.

Genesis  3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Romans  3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans  6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans  8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Our Lord’s blood was the only acceptable sacrifice and so, He had been slain for the sins of lost humanity, before the foundation of the world.

1 Peter  1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;  1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:  1:20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

Revelation  13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

He died a painful shameful gruesome excruciating death to bring wise Bible believing believers, back to glory.

Hebrews  2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.  2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

No wonder over and over in the scriptures, He was revealed and referred to even before His birth in Bethlehem, as the Saviour of the world.

Let us discover some of these affirmations from the Bible.

Luke  2:10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.  2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

John  4:40 So when the Samaritans were come unto him, they besought him that he would tarry with them: and he abode there two days.  4:41 And many more believed because of his own word;  4:42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.

Acts  5:30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.  5:31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Acts  13:22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.  13:23 Of this man’s seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:  13:38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:  13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Ephesians  5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Philippians  3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

1 Timothy  1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope;

2 Timothy  1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,  1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

Titus  1:4 To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.

Titus  2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Titus  3:4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,  3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;  3:6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

2 Peter  1:1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

2 Peter  1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:  1:11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

2 Peter  2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

2 Peter  3:2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:

3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

1 John  4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

Jesus came to this world , primarily to save the lost  inside and outside of the church.from damnable sins.

Matthew  1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Sins outside, biblical salvation.

Sins within, biblical sanctification or holiness.

Luke  19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

The great question for you is that, have you allowed Jesus Christ to set you completely free from both inward and outward sins?

This is because the Son of God, our Lord Jesus Christ, can make you completely free from all sins.

John  8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.  8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Let us pray.
