So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate. Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
Beloved, we come to consider the third church and you really need to be very sincere with yourself.
This becomes necessary because of what is at stake. Your eternal well-being. I earnestly pray for you in particular, that nothing shall jeopardize your well deserved blissful eternity in Jesus name.
Always being mindful that this message was sent by Christ, the truth personified, who knows the truth, through and through.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Jn 2:23 — Jn 2:25 Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did. But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.
Hebrews 4:13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
Our Lord commissioned the beloved apostle John to send the messages to the seven selected churches at Asia then.
To start with this message was exclusively for them, to reveal their spiritual standing and it’s eternal consequences.
Revelation 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
But then this same message is for the universal church of Christ, till the end of the church age.
Seven means totality, completeness, perfection, finality.
That informs why all the messages ended with He that hath an ear, let Him, hear what the blessed Holy Spirit is saying to the churches.
Revelation 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
Revelation 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Revelation 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
Revelation 2:29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
I am persuaded of you that you have an ear and you are going to take advantage of these information at your disposal to prepare adequately for the dawning rapture, that can happen anytime from now.
By the special grace of God you are the church , that Jesus our Lord purchased with His blood.
Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
Because of divine ownership of our Lord over you by creation and redemption, He is sending these messages to you in particular.
Revelation 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
It might surprise you that the universal church is presently divided into two.
1. The glorious church for which you belong that Jesus is coming for shortly.
Eph 5:25 — Eph 5:27 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
2. The graceless church that must exclude you, that shall go through the great tribulation.
Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
2Ti 3:1 — 2Ti 3:5 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2Ti 4:3 — 2Ti 4:4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Beloved, remember, these messages needed your prompt attention. This is because, it is imminent. It is going to happen shortly.
Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
Rev 22:10 — Rev 22:13 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
How are you going to benefit greatly from these messages? By doing what David did. See it.
Psa 16:8 I have set the Lord always before me:because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
See what you should put before you. The fact that your seat is secured among the twenty four elders before the throne of God.
Rev 4:1 — Rev 4:4 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
Now by the grace of God you are fully aware that these twenty-four elders are the raptured church.
Rev 19:4 — Rev 19:9 And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great. And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
The dawning rapture then shall not elude you as you function as an angel to those in your world of influence and also as a member of the glorious church, our Lord is coming for shortly.
There is something you need to know about the angels that will immensely benefit you. See it.
Psalms 103:20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
God’s angels are unique in three things. If you plug into the three things, your partaking in the dawning rapture shall be guaranteed.
1. They excel in strength.
2. They are addicted to doing the totality of God’s commandments.
3. They don’t argue when they are sent on errands, they harkening to His voice.
Make all of these your lifestyle henceforth.
You excel in strength as you live the lifestyle of peculiar generation.
1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
Exo 19:5 — Exo 19:6 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
2. You are addicted to doing God’s entire commandments.
Rev 3:10 — Rev 3:11 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Genesis 26:5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
3. You don’t argue with thus saith the Lord. You harken at all times.
John 2:5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith unto you, do it.
Exodus 24:7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient.
Mat 1:24 — Mat 1:25 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name Jesus.
Beloved, let us consider this this church with all the seriousness it requires. See it.

You would have noticed that I did not make references to the introduction of Christ in previous two chapters we have studied.
This was because I the the Lord was pleased with them.
But this third church is very different.
See how our Lord was tender and comforting to the first two churches.
The first.
Revelation 2:1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
Do you know what this mean. I am in your midst walking with you.
Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
See the second church.
Revelation 2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
What is the meaning of this?
I am there for you. I am on top of everything happening to you.
I will never leave you in your challenges unil the very end.
Because I live you also shall live . Despite your difficult challenges.
This becomes I am Alpha and Omega.
Jn 14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Revelation 1:8. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
BUT THEN THIS THIRD CHURCH WAS DIFFERENT. OUR LORD INTRODUCED HIMSELF AS A JUDGE. See it.
Revelation 2:12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
What is the meaning of this? Let the Bible tells you.
Revelation 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
Revelation 19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
Isa 11:1 — Isa 11:4 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears: But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth,and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Beloved, never fall a victim of false teachers and merchandise motivational speakers.
They preach the love of Christ alone to their congregation.
They never teach them, that Jesus is a judge and never tolerate sin from anybody.
John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
Act 17:30 — Act 17:31 bAnd the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
Mat 7:21 — Mat 7:23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Beloved this church like many others in our days , is not a glorious church, but graceless.
It tolerate sin and damnable compromises.
Always remember, even if you are a man after the heat of the Lord , like David. Sin displeases the Lord and He frowns at it.
2Sa 11:27 And when the mourning was past, David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the Lord.
Don’t be deceived or presumptuous. The unrighteousnes inside or outside the church shall be damned. You shall not be damned in Jesus name. So don’t play with sin or compromise.
1Co 6:9 — 1Co 6:10 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
God and His Son, Jesus Christ are angry with sin in the life of anyone and will judge it.
Psalms 7:11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
Psalms 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
Beloved , because you are going to be part of the dawning rapture. Distance yourself from sin and compromise.
Deal decisively with problem of sin I your life now, before it is too late.
Let us come back to the church again.
Commendation of Christ.
Revelation 2:13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
Christ takes notice of the trials and difficulties this church encountered with: I know thy works, and where thou dwellest,
The works of God’s servants are best known when the circumstances under which they did those works are duly considered.
Now that which added very much lustre to the good works of this church was the circumstance of the place where this church was planted, a place where Satan’s seat was.
This church was established by Paul apostle.
Acts 19:10 And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks.
Remember, you are commissioned by Christ to be occupied until He appears in the air, to rapture you to heaven.
Luke 19:13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mark 16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
The believers of old were obedient to the heavenly commission. Go and be doing likewise. It is by doing this that , those in your world of influence shall be saved.
Act 26:19 — Act 26:20 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.
Beloved, please preach the gospel so that God will reach out to those in your world of influence and save them. May the Lord find you in particular faithful , as our Lord Jesus Christ was , in Jesus name.
Heb 3:2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.
Pergamos was the capital city of Asia and so the statue of Caeser was there to be worshipped as king and God..
You recount during the trial of our Lord, the Jews rejected our Lord and said Caeser was there king .
John 19:15 But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.
The refusal of Christians at Pergamos who refused to bow before this statue at this capital city , the center of the power of government brings severe persecutions and sometimes matydom to them.
This was why it was referred to as a city where satan’s seat was. The
seat of persecution is Satan’s seat.
This people dwelt where Satan’s seat was, where he kept his court. His circuit is throughout the world, his seat is in some places that are famous for wickedness, error, and cruelty.
This was why one of them was martyred.
Revelation 2:13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
Pause a little here. Are you dwelling where satan’s seat is? Like the Northern part of Nigeria where Christians are being butchered, martyred and severely persecuted?
Are you working where satan’s seat is and you are fiercely challenged and persecuted?
Are the members of your close and extended family persecuting you because of your standings for righteousness and your Christian faith?
This church stood firm and you too can stand firm for Christ and lift up the banner of righteousness.
Act 5:28 — Act 5:33 Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us. Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him. When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them.
Act 5:40 — Act 5:42 And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name. And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
Jer 1:17 — Jer 1:19 Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them. For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land. And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the Lord, to deliver thee.
Jer 15:20 — Jer 15:21 And I will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the Lord. And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible.
Jeremiah 31:11 For the Lord hath redeemed Jacob,and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.
Heb 13:5 — Heb 13:6 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
The church stood firmly for Christ despite the fact that, they were dwelling in this city of pagan and satan idolatry worship. May the Lord depend on you to hold fast His name, despite opposition in Jesus name.
Revelation 2:13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
Condemnation and reprove of Christ for their shameful compromise lifestyle.
Rev 2:14 — Rev 2:15 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
Beloved, pause and examine yourself.
You are saved to be good example and shinning light. John the Baptist was a burning light.
John 5:35 He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.
The church at Antioch were good example.
Acts 11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
Joseph was a good example.
Genesis 39:9 There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?
Daniel was a good example.
Daniel 1:8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
Daniel 6:4 Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
Job and Noah were good examples.
Ezekiel 14:14 Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith the Lord God.
All of these saints started well and finished well. May the Lord help you too, to finish well in Jesus name.
You are saved to be good examples and epistle for others to read and be saved. God shall make you so in Jesus name.
1. Your lifestyle should be epistle that can bring others to Christ without the Bible.
2Co 3:2 Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
1 Peter 3:1 Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
2. Be good examples to saints and sinners alike.
1 Timothy 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
3. Live blameless lifestyle.
Philippians 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
4. Turn others to righteousness for them to be saved.
Daniel 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
Luk 1:16 — Luk 1:18 And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God. And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord. And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.
Mal 2:5 — Mal 2:7 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name. The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity. For the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts.
Beloved see what our Lord said about this church. I hope you are not like this.

He mentioned two names who were supposed to turn others to righteousness.
1. Balaam.
Who was Balaam. He prayed the best prayer in the Bible. Presently He is in hell. He died a merchandise prophet.
Numbers 23:10 Who can count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his!
2Pe 2:15 — 2Pe 2:16 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man’s voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
2. Nicholas . Who was He? He became apostate and became a stumbling block in the Christendom.
Act 6:3 — Act 6:6 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch: Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.
This angel, that is the minister was tolerating sin and many of the members fell into compromise.
Pastor are you tolerating sin in your church, because of the tithe pf the people?
Are you compromising because you want to gather crowd and lead them to hell,?
Are you afraid of what some powerful people in your church will do and you can not be forthright against sin.
This was the undoing of this pastor.
It is also the undoing of the first king of Israel. You need to be firm if your church shall remain in righteousness at this perilous time.
1 Samuel 15:24 And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the Lord, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.
You must stand firm and kick against sin, even if sinning church comers in your church will leave.
Follow the example of our Lord Jesus Christ, Himself.
Jn 6:60 — Jn 6:70 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you? What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?
Are you a parent and you are tolerating sin to win the favor of your children and possibly what they are doing for you?
You are already leading them to damnation if you are doing so.
Kick against compromise Amy where you find it. Contend with compromisers and defend the Faith.
Proverbs 28:4 They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them.
Jud 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
Nehemiah 13:11 Then contended I with the rulers, and said, Why is the house of God forsaken? And I gathered them together, and set them in their place.
Neh 13:17 Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this that ye do, and profane the sabbath day?
Neh 13:25 — Neh 13:26 And I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by God, saying, Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves. Did not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was there no king like him, who was beloved of his God, and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish women cause to sin.
By the grace of God you must defend the gospel and never ever be a stumbling block like Balaam and Nicholas. The good Lord shall help you in particular in Jesus name.
Philippians 1:17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.
Romans 14:13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.
Exhortation of Jesus to this compromising church and to you, if you are already compromising.
Rev 2:17 — Rev 2:18 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it. And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
Jesus told them to repent if they will eat angels food in eternity.
Act 17:30 — Act 17:31 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
Beloved, the rapture is dawning and even death can come unannounced.
It is not sufficient to be churchy. But to strive to be a member of the glorious church.
The question is , where do you in particular belong to? A glorious church or a graceless church.

I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
Please without any presumption, kindly examine yourself and do the needful.
2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
The grace of God is still available today. It might not be there again any moment from now.
Tit 2:11 — Tit 2:14 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
Heb 3:7 — Heb 3:15 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.) Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end; While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.
