I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night [ I reflect at night on who you are ], and have kept thy law. – Psalms 119:55

Dearly beloved brethren, if there is anytime, the revelation in this passage is relevant, it is now, for all Bible believing believers, like you.

This is because, we are now at the perilous times. The time of trouble for Bible believing believers.

Always remember that, during the time when your challenges, gets to climax, which is biblically described as night. God alone is still your best recourse.

Nahum 1:7 The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

His name alone and the glorious unfailing name of our master and Lord, is unfailing anchor and refuge.

Pro 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower:the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night [ I reflect at night on who you are ], and have kept thy law. – Psalms 119:55

The reason for running into and cleaving unto the name of Jesus, is to frustrate the intention and goals of the devil to separate you from Him.

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your soul
Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Beloved see instances in both old and new testaments, when the saints of God, held unto Him in the night, the climax of their afflictions and challenges.

1. Paul and Silas.

Acts 16:25-26 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.

2. King David.

Psa 20:1 — Psa 20:8 The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah. Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel. We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions. Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
Psalms 46:1-5, 7 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early. 46:7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night [ I reflect at night on who you are ], and have kept thy law. – Psalms 119:55

Beloved, holding firm and cleaving totally, to the Lord was , what king David, did at this time, in the night, that signified the climax of his challenges then. See it yourself.

I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night [ I reflect at night on who you are ], and have kept thy law. – Psalms 119:55

See this same passage in other Bible versions.

NLT
Psalms 119:55 I reflect at night on who you are, O lord; therefore, I obey your instructions.

AMP BIBLE
Psalm 119:55 I have [earnestly] remembered Your name, O Lord, in the night, and I have observed Your law.

Beloved, see the same passage amplified.

I have remembered thy name – Thou art Jehovah; and as our God thou hast made thyself known unto us. In the deepest night of our affliction this has consoled me.

Perhaps, you might be going through some difficult challenges too.

Don’t forget the goal of the devil is to use it to separate you from your loving, caring and dependable Redeemer and Lord. Satan shall fail abysmally and forever, concerning you in particular in Jesus name.

But then, remember the glorious unfailing name of our Lord Jesus Christ, which remains an unfailing and sure anchor and refuge for you.

Then, no doubt as king David, Paul and Silas and other saints in Bible days and this contemporary time triumphed. You also in the name of the Lord shall triumph in Jesus name.

2 Corinthians 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night [ I reflect at night on who you are ], and have kept thy law. – Psalms 119:55
